Let’s face it, we’ve all been at the checkout one time or another and realised our wallet is…at home. Sounds familiar? Ahh, I thought so...well, kick back, and learn the ways of Apple Pay today.
Apple Pay is not only convenient, but it is arguably faster than chip-based credit cards. It also creates a randomized, unique code every time you make a purchase, a similar technology most credit card chips use, not to mention our payments are all locked behind biometric verifications.
➡️ How to set up Apple Pay:
Grab your iPhone and start by heading to the wallet app, and pressing ‘add card.’ Next tap ‘continue’ and here you can either select the card you use with Apple ID, and just add the security code. Or, click ‘add a different card’ and either scan, or enter your card details manually. Tap ‘next,’ read and agree to permissions, and now your bank or card issuer will verify your information, and magically grant this card access. Once they do, finally tap ‘next’ and that’s it! By-the-way, if you'd like to use Apple Pay on multiple devices then you will need to do this step for each device individually.
➡️ How to use Apple Pay via iPhone:
You can use Apple Pay in taxis, grocery stores, retailers and many other places. The cool thing is Apple Pay works with an NFC chip, meaning you won’t need wifi or data to make Apple Pay payments on iPhone or Apple Watch.
So, with an iPhone you’ve got two options: Face ID, or Touch ID. To use Face ID, simply double-click the side button, and glance at your iPhone. Now hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader - you know, those things that look like early 2000’s mobiles - wait for confirmation, and you’re done!
➡️ How to use Apple Pay via Apple Watch:
What if you want to look super high-tech? Then, you’ll probably want to pay using your…Apple Watch! If you want to use your default card just double-click the side button on your watch, hold the display of your Apple Watch near the contactless reader, and keep it there until you feel a gentle tap. Depending on the store, and amount, you may need to sign a receipt or enter your PIN, but that’s it folks!

I’m curious, you used a Swedbank card, is this a bank that many people use in your country? It’s a Swedish bank, therefore the name, but I just thought it was available in the Nordic and Baltic countries Edit: unless you live in one of those countries, then your English is very good, cause i can’t Hera an accent
I keep asking for a pin after I use Face ID and I never set one up
Does Apple Pay have something like express payment? So I don’t have to use Face ID, passcode or Touch ID. Android has this option just tap and go no need to press buttons or enter passcodes or scan face nor fingerprint, it is much easier and faster. Hopefully Apple Pay has something like this.

2:26 well that was a mistake right there. Everyone knows the power button double tap doesn’t work like it does on Face ID enabled phones. You can only double click the home button to pull up Apple Pay on Touch ID enabled phones.

yes. That would be apple cash, all it needs is an internet connection, so wifi will suffice for that.
Do you have to touch those dirty readers? The phone/watch is so close that it doesn’t look contactless

you can’t. The ipod touch lacks touch id/face id and a secure element.

“Nfc chip” what? I’ve never heard it called that but I guess the antenna coil is connected to something like a chip. But why show a sim card when you say that? It feels like it goes against what is said immediately after about not needing data. Thats what the sim is for, data…

It's a similar process, but when you're prompted to authenticate the payment you'll just type your passcode. :)

It will give you the option to use the passcode only if it can’t recognize your face or fingerprint or if you disable the use of face id/touch id for wallet in settings.
The video pic is very deceiving, you didn’t even go over how to use the iPad……

No need. She did show how to use apple pay online with an iphone, it’s basically the same with an ipad.
I notice that more and more people get sick from wearing the watch on the right and use the applewatch upside down. If you don't wear your watch upside down, you're not smart..Stupidity
