How exactly does raising shift pressure increase trans life?

The factory tune keep the line pressures low to make smoother shifts by slipping. Slipping the trans is a bad thing. We tune it out on GM trucks a different way

I just ordered this tune. And I've tried multiple times to go to this website. It isn't working.

I tuned my 2003 ford f150 4.6 with the canned tune should I max out the shift pressure? I did notice a difference in power but it shifts hard on certain gears

id be careful. i did 25% on my 2002 mustang, 6 months later im buying a new trans

Only do max on a 4r100. You trans is a 4r70w most likely.
