Hey brother. I really like to use Medium Light rods just cuz it gives the lure more action in the water. And it is also easier on my arm the next day lol

I have personally never been but I've heard behind the convention center and on either side of pier 19 are good spots to walk up and wade. Hope that helps. Tight lines!

Jig heads goes by the area you are fishing. Deeper the water heavier the jig head. Shallow water lighter jig head to avoid getting caught in the grass

Rod size and length is mainly for preference. Depending on if you are throwing lures than use a LIGHT ACTION and for bait use a HEAVY

Darker colors in dark water (midnight mullet, toxic rootbeer) and brighter colors in clear water bud (bro’s gold, money)
