Im glad that you've made this video for novices and diyers. Just want to say somethings. Sawzall is a brand name. Dont take the shoe off just to change the blades. Not all or even many reciprocating saws have an orbital function. Corded sawzalls usually have less power that modern cordless tools. Milwaukee makes the best saws and blades for your average consumer. The point about the teeth number and size is a bit misleading given the examples you've provided. Strokes per minute is important when buying a new saw yes but stroke length is just as important. I can tell that your saw gets handled more than it gets used but thats not necessarily a bad thing. If you're not in the trades or your average home owner, this tool gets used rarely or just for gardening. That being said you may have done better to focus on the things you've really used it for. Familiarity with common terms is determined by common practice. Not everyone uses these things all week but even if you just use it on the weekends you should know that you probably wont need the most expensive carbide blades from Home Depot unless you're doing demo or cutting pipe for a job that is probably best left to a professional. This is a very versatile tool and I'm glad you addressed the safety concerns but I wish you had done a bit more research regarding the information you presented. I did watch the video twice and found it to be well intentioned but a bit green. I will check out more of your content. Please understand the criticism. I'm new to the trades and have been doing a lot of research as to what I need to get the job done. Possibly why this video came up in my feed.

Attach the sawzall to a table in a vertical position. I would think from the underside with the blade sticking up through a hole.

Sorry but why is the shoe all chewed up? You might want to look into that. If the blade is hitting it that much there may be a problem. Safety!
