Good summary for new starters/staff not familiar with the technology. The only thing I would suggest is showing the Intellivue X2 'transfer box' as we call it.(Where the leads connect in), and showing how to attach/detach it safely from the monitor, e.g. for when transferring to CT or ICU. It's a costly error waiting to happen if they aren't secured in properly as our department have learned.

We were unsure whether to include this in the original video, however, based on recent feedback we're aiming to produce a quick follow-up video detailing what to do when transferring the monitor with a patient. Thanks 👍

I must admit that the technology in heart monitors are far more advanced than what they were years ago. I never knew these monitors could run an ECG, because at the hospital in town they just opened a new emergency section on the hospital and they always bring a separate machine in to perform an ECG. I was hooked up to one of these a year ago, so it’s pretty neat to see how advanced the technology is especially since they are able to diagnose certain things just by reading all of the information that the heart monitor receives.

Good introduction. I was hoping to see how you transfer monitoring to portable one while transporting patient off unit, so I can still keep the data to document.

Was there already a portable version or slightly smaller cardiac monitor that can be fitted in a large bag to be assembled in a bus medical emergency vehicle with minor OR or ambulance, usable during a city disaster incidents like terrorist bomb explosions and large city fire or helicopter ambulance transporting injured government officials or business personalities, like for example them to be fetched in a mountainous areas for example far from cities?

I think it would have been better to focus the screen on the Monitor not on speaker

In the west I think persons or beings have their specific numbers admit it or not, true or false, I dont care, but what if by pressing a particular number of a person in your modern monitor you can assess the cardiac electrical activity of a particular person whether with conduction problem arrhythmia or pathway problem such as LBBB or RBBB, assessing the heart structural events without placing any electrodes, pads or paddles but by wavelengths, frequencies alone and manipulating the heart conduction system of that person using particular energy fit for that persons category or by fixing the conduction pathway by elements manipulations using dust particles using the computer consoles, maybe in the future.
