How to use a man lift and Graco sprayer to paint

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Is a man lift worth it!!! How to use a man lift and Graco sprayer to paint. Its definite worth it.
In this video, i use a man lift and Graco sprayer to paint. I rented a man lift from the local, heavy equipment rental comply and I take it out to my brother’s house about 25 miles way. I had not use a man lift before this, the rental cost was only $219.99 money well spent. We used it to paint the gable end of his house.

Thank you for posting this, I was looking for a video that showed how well the lift moved from side to side.

Was it really wobbly at the 15-20ft height, or just when it was fully extended?

Dan, how did you guys go about painting the soffit areas? Were getting ready to paint up in Snohomish county and I'm trying to figure out whether to shoot the backside of the gutters of or tape them off. What would you recommend?

Cool gear man, grab some fall harnesses though! You wont want to deal with liability issues for not following OSHA regs

You mentioned using a JLG a couple of times. The lift in the video is a Bil-Jax

Do you have to hook it up to your truck (bulldozer) every time you want to move it or can you move it by hand?

Connect it to the tractor, if I’m moving it more than a foot or two , and even that takes two people

I would recommend using personal fall arrest gear with that type of equipment. Unforeseen events can catapult the operator off/out of the man basket. Nice vids, keep up the good work!

You definitely didn’t need a lift to spray that house, you can easily put ladders on that first roof , we would have this prepped and painted in 2 days 3 depending how far of a drive it is, easy money

Always wear a safety harness mate .... used these machines all my life and they are so unpredictable. A quick drop in hydraulic pressure ( burst hose etc.) and you get thrown from the bucket. No harness = dead

There is no showing how to operate this machine. It would be better if you could physically show the buttons and switches . How they operate.

I was just on their website again. And it looks like both of your homes are featured. That's the sign of a happy customer. I didn't realize before that when I looked at my neighbors house online, I was actually looking at pictures of your house! Small world. My neighbor is getting finaled next week so they are excited to be moving in shortly. I was inside the other day too and I really like the open kitchen/ vaulted living room. Good layout! - Wally
