    Thanks for explaining the numbers on the clutch. So many videos skip or barely say anything about them. If they do, it sounds like they are saying it's also like speed when it is not.

    +B.Baxter Matheny She will do just fine with a 20v! I'm a female owner of 20v Dewalt drill and Impact wrench. I use for house hold items and work on my car builds, never once had a problem with them fitting my hands or holding for long periods of time.

    elainejan - Same here! I have the magnetic bits and have absolutely no idea how to use/install them. I was so happy to have purchased a “Real Drill” until I went to put the bits in. I gave up, everything is back in the dewalt bag😔

    Excellent question. I wouldnt recommend changing the speed of the drill during operation. Choose a speed before you decide to drill and stick with it...there are gears in there that can strip if forced to hard. Hope that helps

    Update!!! Chuck jaws were extremely rusty. Used WD-40, let it sit for awhile and now (I think) it is working like it's in good shape!!! I am thrilled!!!

    The instruction manual I received with my DeWalt Cordless drill says not to attach a drill bit in the manner that you demonstrated as you could do damage to the drill,(just saying) although I do it the same way you do

    The manual says 1 is high, 2 is low. Reviews all say the opposite. I've been using this Fri for five years, still can't tell any difference between the two.

    1 is high *torque* and low speed. 2 is low *torque* and high speed. 1 tends to be better for driving fasteners into hard woods or more precision, 2 tends to be better for drilling or speed work

    I have a dewalt corded drywall screw gun. the clutch stops the bit from turning with the least bit or resistance. any ideas on how to repair. doesn't matter what the setting.

    Ive always owned Dewalt drills and not ever run into that problem. I would see if you could sent it back and it it either replaced or refurbished. Thank you for the feedback and the comment

    i wanted to ask is this a good drill for diy use i am going to buy a used one i get to test it first only $10 two batteries charger hard case its a newer one of the one you got in the video ebay i can buy two new batteries from a us seller for like $30 for two and from videos on hear i should be able to change out the cells for new one into the dewalt branded batterie case i did have a older black & decker 14 volt ni-cd that its not worth to buy new batteries for i did buy a new drill a hyper tough 18 volt ni-cd that dont have the power i need but at like $20 with tax am not going to bitch

    I had no idea how to work this and construct my mom's bed as shes yelling at me telling me idk shit. After watching 1 minute of this she is rushing and that noise starts but she thinks it's all good. In the end I did it but shes just so stubburn to acknowledge
