You did such a great job explaining things, I'm very impressed, I've been considering a.Chinese model , but have been thinking about a Bridgeport lately,. Yo did a great job dispelling spot of my concerns.thank you .

Thanks for the idea with the 3-D printer. Going to make one at work tomorrow. Can't stand that lever to move up-and-down always slips out.

Jim, quick question. Can these Bridgeport milling machines be automated? It is a vintage one like in your video. Great video by the way! Learning a lot!

They can be, but its quite expensive as you need to add ball screws, servos and a controller. You’re generally better off just buying a purpose built cnc.

I have a cover plate you're missing for your Bridgeport. I'm willing to sell you for pretty cheap.
