Impressive!

Ok. Here's the skinny on this 3-d press.... I purchased this thing for about $1000 with shipping. I have tried to sublimate only mugs so far. What I have found is that when the colors transfer from the paper to the substrate, the results are uneven and inconsistent. So, what I had to do was max out the heat, increase the time to roughly 20 minutes. after the 20 minutes, I turn the mugs over and bake for another 4 minutes. The results are much improved. You see, the problem is the heat element. since the element is only heating from the top down when the lid is closed, the transfer is inconsistent from top to bottom., I noticed the color richer at points closer to the heat element. Which is why, when I turned the mugs right side up, I got a more even transfer. I have only done mugs so far and have had good success with this process. I will update when I move onto other items.

how do I do curved glass? My machine does not have a release valve in the back to adjust pressure. The glass breaks. Any help?

What type of material do you use with this machine? Can you use a regular inkjet printer and transfer paper such as the ones Avery makes? Or do you have to have a sublimation printer and a specific type of transfer paper?

How long the image printed will last? Is washable? Thanks a lot.

I purchased this machine also - have only had one month -very inconsistent results, corners of cases look awful no matter if you cut them or fold them... and we have already gone through 4 silicone mats - they burst during the process, and ruins whatever you were sublimating. Have not tried the thermal paper (film) technique... has anyone else? Sublimet shows an attachment that can be purchased to use with the machine...? Shows corners turning out even, unlike the normal techique... ?

It uses sublimation paper, you can easily find it. Just use sublimation dye ink with some Epson printers that support it

Best Sub, need your help please. I live in Brazil and I have bought your machine model ST3042 here, but the supplier was not able to support me in a sactisfatory manner. First - I need to know which times to set for each product when the machine is already heated. Second - Is this possible to sublimate neoprene products (laptop cases, mouse pad etc) in the vacuum place? If so, may you please inform the temperature and time?

I have this machine and it when I start the vacuum it the temperature drops to 175c and gets up to 184c during the pressing time, but never stays anywhere near 200c ...

I have one this machine and its fine, you can make everything except plates. They lie about plates, plates can not be made with it because the silicone membrane explodes after 5-6 plates.

it happened to me at first, but saddly it was an ink problem, Guy sold me the "right" ink and couldn´t print, then i changed my provider and ink worked like a charm. otherwise check if mug and cell are "sublimable" (sorry the bad english, hope you understand)

the timing on the plate at first was 190 degress at 6 mins..then when you took it out is was 5 mins and 180 degrees?... was that a sudden drop in time? did u have to leave it in a minute more? a cool down? ..please answer

This is called Sublimation Process. You need sublimation paper, sublimation inks, and a printer for that purpose only. You can buy an Epson printer and use it with sublimation inks. after you take out of machine take off wrap , then remove paper. then put in LUKE Warm water , NOT COLD. it will cool and you should be good. So far no problem but I have only done mugs. I have had no problems

How is that 3D printing. Mugs you can do in the oven with the wraps and the rest of the stuff can be done on a flat press.

You cannot do a full surface of the plate on a flat press. N it's a 3d heatpress. You also can't do phone cases with no oven or flat press

Yes. If you would like to make sublimation on the hard surface, they need to be applied sublimation coating for printing.

This is heating sublimation machine, you have to use sublimation blanks and sublimation paper and ink.

180 ℃, 13 minutos para vidrio templado normal. Para vidrio con alto contenido de borosilicato, 7 minutos están bien.

go with 200C not less than 6 minutes on the oven. more or less add one minute per mug if you are filling up the oven.
