Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Topaz Gigapixel AI is a software designed to help you upsize any photo using AI software to generate higher resolutions. This is incredibly useful for making large prints, or resizing photos to a larger size for web or any other purpose.
This software works great for photographers who have cameras with a lower amount of megapixels, but still want to create larger images.

This is awesome! Question for you-- Do you always use the upscaling when printing anything larger than say 26 inches in length? My A7r2 has the 42MP and that's the max size from export. I'm assuming if you just sent off the regular jpeg export at 300ppi to Bay Photo and asked for a 24x36in or 30x45in that they would upscale on their end? Wondering how much better the results would be via this method vs just uploading the normal highest output jpeg your sensor allows.

Hey Cory! Thanks for checking out the video. I always resize my image before sending it to print, rather than letting the printer automatically resize it. Whether I am sizing down or up, I always sharpen and resize together! Hopefully this helps.

Have you compared GigaPixel to the Enhance Feature in Photoshop / Lightroom? Thanks for the video!

So, what is the biggest print you can make from the R4 without upsizing ?

There really isn't any rule to how large it could be, because the quality will go down over time without upsizing. I've never tried printing without upsizing because it only takes a matter of a couple minutes to do it!

In compressed mode, you will see marks like squares and lines, especially in photos with blue skies. Why does it do that?

If I purchase a software is it subscription or one time payment?

The Topaz software is a one time purchase, and you’ll get any updates free in the next year. After the year is up, you still keep the software but you’d have to pay for any updates.

@@AustinJamesJackson thanks for answer, I have another question. If I go and print AI photo with resolution of 20000-25000px in format 40x60inch on canvas, will it keep the same quality on canvas like it is on digital format before printing?

Will not work on ANY image. It has size limits. When clients ask for huge enlargements for wall banners, this app will not work. Size limits are 22,000 and 32,000 pixels for TIFF and JPEG outputs. Most people will never go this high but it was disappointing to find it had limits.

Yeah, I’m not sure of any software that allows you to go larger with good results unfortunately. The most common application of Gigapixel is using it to make low quality images higher quality, but I know some people also use it for prints as well.

What if you were to split the image into segments and then stitch the enlarged pieces back together in Photoshop? Not ideal in terms of work-flow, but you should still get the same result.
