Goodday @Kimberly Michelle, Im working from a PC and i wasnt able to upload the fonts to my canva pro. I got to the point of dropping them to my other fonts, but i was then told the blacksword font inst recognize on the PC as font. I just did some more looking and realized they arent been downloaded as ttf or any supported format for the fonts

Hi crystal. You just want to open the zip on your compute so that it’s in a regular folder. From there you can upload. 😊

The more you know, adding fonts just changed canva.

Do you have a video showing how to upload freepik text effects to Canva? I tried the video using photopea but he’s using a MAC and it’s not the same, can’t follow him.

Those text effects are .psd files and are only usable in Photoshop. They won’t work in Canva.

I couldn't get the zipped file to upload. And I am not using a p.c. do you have a video for that?

You have to unzip the file before uploading to Canva. To unzip just double click on the zip file. A new unzipped folder should appear. Upload your font to Canva from that unzipped folder.

when i go into brand kits there is literally nothing there. do you know how to fix this?

What format is it currently? It’s does not matter if u upload ttf or otf to Canva.

If u bought canva pro for a month, and downloaded a font on it, would u be able to still use it after 3 months

are you using an account that someone else owns and you are one of the users? If so the owner of the account will need to set up the brand kit

when uploading these fonts from Dafont, Canva keeps saying the file is corrupted.

Is the file your uploading a .ttf or .otf? Make sure the file extension your uploading ends with either .ttf or .otf

Do I have to log out and back in for the don't to be there?

No you may need to refresh if you were already working on a design but you shouldn’t need to log out

Check towards the top of the list of fonts. All of your uploaded fonts should be there. Also try refreshing the page.

sorry for the late reply I did not see this comment. you will need to unzip the file 1st on your computer. you can do this just by double-clicking on it. then upload the .otf or .ttf file to Canva

All fonts I find are in black only. Where do I find color fonts?

Fonts don’t come in different colors. You change the font colors in Whatever application you’re in once you have downloaded your font’s

To upload fonts you’ll need a pro account. You can do the free trail

Mines didn’t work … it says this file type is not supported and I’m using chrome is laptop and I have Canva pro..

Thank you. It didn't work for me. When I searched my font, it said there is no such font. It is in Canva, but it won't show in my fonts, when I type a word. 🤬🤷

Molly are you sure you have the spelling correct. Also your uploaded fonts should show up in the list right above the Canva fonts.

Correct. I believe I did say free for personal use. However, if you purchase the correct license you’ll be able to use for profit if needed.

This video sucks. I need a canva pro account to do this?! I’m not paying for that. If there is a way to do it without a canva pro account let me know.

Sorry girl, gotta have a pro account to upload fonts. If you don’t want to pay for the pro account they have plenty of nice fonts on the free version of Canva.
