Thank you for sharing! I am borrowing someone's cricut for a project and this tutorial was so easy to follow.! I am using a Mac, so the commands are a little different. After the download, two files were in the download folder, the zip, and a folder containing two files. Go to the folder > right-click on the ttf file > select "open with"> choose "Font Book" (it was the only option for me) Once Font Book opens, there will be an option to install the font > click install. I closed out Cricut Space and reopened. The font was there :) Thank you again for the tutorial! Sorry if this is a duplicate response on how to use on a Mac.

It took me about an hour to figure out why my downloaded fonts were not working with this app but i finally figured it out and im very very very happy with the results. I can now use fancy fonts without running the risk of messing anything up or getting so frustrated to the point that i abandon the project/ font. Is there a way to get your installed fonts to write but have it filled in? I learned that when you try to "write" a font that is not from cricut, it only does the outline, it doesn't fill it in. Is there a way around that? For example, say I was making a card.

I have not done font projects so I'm attempting my first one now. My question is this: When choosing a font from any free font place, how do I know which of these fonts are writing fonts verses cutting fonts? I downloaded a AR Berkeley font just thinking I could use any old font and make it writing for a tag project or cutting for a card project. But it does not work this way correct? We cannot do it this simply correct? We are limited to the fonts by projects? Thank you!

Hi, one quick question, do you have to also pay for the use of the other images on dafont? Say for instance the arrows or.maybe heart shapes that you want to use for commercial projects.

Victoria Arcturus once you download and install the font you need to close down the Cricut application and open it back up. I would give that a try if you haven’t yet. Hopefully that works! :)
