5:01 theres a way to removes the sticky residue thing. Use cologne/perfume and spray on the sticky reside and it should rub off just fine. Plus it would smell nice too

When tech decks first came out, I use to take the grip tape remnants from my skateboard (usually Mobgrip) and use it on my tech deck

Thanks Kelsey. I still use Tech Decks. I like the variety of real graphics and for $3, you can't beat it. I had been wondering if I could buy pro fb wheels/bearings to fit the boards to improve them. Definitely gonna do that. The new 32mm Tech Decks are very quality. Aside from the plastic wheels, the boards skate nice.

Hi l

If your planning on doing a lot of grinds with your fingerboard I would take toothpicks cut of the spikes and gluing or taping them to the edges of the bottom of your fingerboard to keep it your decal fresh

I’m not huge in fingerboarding it’s just a small hoppy for me, but personally I like to go on Broken Kunckle fingerboards amd just buy a complete, they allow you to change the truck size, and the color, same with the wheels, and it only cost like 16 dollars. I’ve had one for 3+ years and it really beat up. Today i finally decided to upgrade when I started to get an insane groove in the trucks, and by upgrade i mean just buy a new p-rep complete, so I recommend it :)

I think I like both tech decks fingerboards and did like do it yourself fingerbaords like homemade fingerbaords with bought upgraded parts about a month. Ago I put dirty fingerboard wheels single bearing wheels bowl shape wheels it rocks

I grew up skateboarding and if we couldn’t skate because of weather we would sit inside and tech deck, watch skate videos & play tony hawk non stop. Recently a friend of mine got me back into “finger boarding” idc about the technicality of it all I just am doing it for fun. I can say I bought a performance series tech deck and I didn’t like the form and pop of the wood board I felt it could have had more concave and pop also I am not a fan of the foam grip. Or the stock grip that comes with any of the tech decks. So that being said I prefer the new tech decks more shape to them, more pop and concave and they are much wider than the originals. I did swap out the performance trucks and wheels onto my base model tech deck and I love it. The bushings, wheels and control are so much better and better made. I also pulled the old stock tech deck grip and put 3m adhesive stair grit/tread on my tech deck and it doesn’t hurt my fingers and the grip is so nice! 💪🏻🤘🏻👌 game changer for sure over the slippery foam in my opinion. I’m new to the new world of finger boarding but it’s come back into my life and I’m greatful! Looking into adding some urethane wheels with bearings to my setup soon!

Hey Kelsey I just got a Bollie fingerboard last week. It’s very good but I really want to find out what this white circle is in or on the nut that keeps the trucks together.

tech decks now are perfect they have bushings now that i really like and i bought an extra deck to put the bushings on my pro deck but honestly i started using my tech deck a little more than my pro board and the grip i like but we all have our own opinions so

Tip: if your a grind fingerboarder use foam tape when you do a smithgrind the stock sandpaper grip wount really grip and it will just slide

Do a video about how to put tuning in your trucks

If price was not a factor what setup would you recommend for someone just starting out? I have been looking at the pro setups on blackriver and I’m considering getting a couple to try. Curious to know if the bushings are quality as I see you have them come in a separate package in this video. Would I be better served to just purchase all the parts I want individually? Or simply get the complete setups? I’ve already decided what obstacles I want to purchase so I’m just going to get it all in one big package. I played with tech decks as a teenager but haven’t really touched them in decades, and have children of my own now so want to get some of these new sweet looking products to play on. I didn’t even know to the extent this was such a community but it’s pretty awesome. Any suggestions are welcome.

Fettman07 I would prefer any deck between 32 and 34 mm wide, Blackriver Trucks, the grip and Tuning I used in the video, and flatface wheels. If you live in the USA probably check out flatfacefingerboards.com and TeakTuning.com for what I mentioned. They have completes or individual products. I’d recommend either a Berlinwood or flatface deck, they’re usually always in stock on there.

Does anybody have any suggestions or ways to stop over rotating? Do I need a heavier FB? Do I need to flick at a certain speed? Is there anything specific to land perfect kickflips? Or any other flip trick?
