Dvr + poe switch, so how many channel?

you ave connect ip camera to poe switch and uplink to dvr. my question is how this will get internet as we are not connecting router to them?

Shezad bahi is ka Solution milla mai bhi yehi soch raha hun k router sy dvr mai internet ka wire laga hay,chal wo ap nay poe mai laga diya or poe sy dosara cam ka hay wo us dvr mai laga diya

Configure each camera and manually set IP Address so you wont need a Router for DHCP.

How is the analog camera powered?

Thru CCTV Power Adapter with Splitter or using Centralized Power Supply. But you need RG59/RG6 Siamese Coax Cable.

I currently have 11 cameras that uses the old RG59 coax. I guess I will need to run lots of CAT5 cable to upgrade.

If you have power with your Rg59, you can use the (4) wires to convert to ethernet. Take a Cat6 patch cord and cut in half, use the orange/green pairs to "splice" to the (1) Coax conductor, (2) Coax shield, (3) Red power wire, (4) Black power wire.

You can attach both NVR and the IP camera to a switch at top.

heard the computer voice and instantly click the thumbs down button and then exit the video.

Me too, it sound rubbish.

Maybe they don't speak English well and wanted you to understand them. Not everyone is born in the same country as you.
