Just finished the install. Super easy! I’m 52 and never installed a stereo head unit into any of my 8 vehicles. I watched the video and followed the instructions. I purchased the kit with all of the wire harnesses as shown and it took me about 2 hours start to finish. I only had one thing different than the video. I have a 2012 MDX and unlike as commented in the video, the A pillar interior trim was easy to remove. I used a pick tool to remove the plastic air bag cover, unscrewed the 10mm screw, pulled the trim out and up, and it pulled lifted right out. Thank you for the video and the whole kit. Well worth a few extra bucks. 👍🏻👍🏻

I bought the wire harness kit and your mb quart 6ch amp, I had previously upgraded my 2008 MDX to infinity 2 ohm speakers, it is a complete night and day difference on the sound, it is loud and sounds amazing!, highly recommend this upgrade for all mdx's , I'm waiting for that sub upgrade video! I'm ready to pull the trigger and upgrade my factory sub!

I just finished my install on my 2012 MDX and I have to say I’m super happy with the radio and the plug and play. I’m a little upset cause I studied the video a few times ready to put the wires together but it was already done for me when I received the package!!! I had to stand back and look at it for a second and think, it can’t be this easy but it was. I made the same hole for my USB and it’s a 3/4 inch drill bit you need for that if you buy the PAC usb extender and it has a little nudge on the side you just have to use a blade or something to cut by the hole. Very happy with everything and will be buying speakers from you guys soon.

What do you suggest for a 2016 Acura ILX with the base radio Acurawatch package? I would like to change the factory radio to an aftermarket one. The little screen at the top is just not cutting it. Do you have an aftermarket harness I can use? All I need is the wiring assistance. I appreciate your feedback.

Hello, could you give any tips on connecting factory xm antenna in a MDX 2012 to new audio head unit?

I got a question....I have a 06 tsx with aftermarket radio and with axxess swc for steering wheel controls...suddenly my volume control on steering wheel are acting up especially lowering the volume sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't so I switched out the old steering wheel controls for a newer ones that didn't work and then I bought a new clockspring that didn't work either so my guess is the axxess swc is not working ?..

Any experience working on a ZDX? I really wanna find a way to add the JVC- KW-Z1000W any advice?

Question, and its probably a stupid one. But why would the center/centre channel not work with this setup? Is it because aftermarket Head Units don't support it? And would there be a way to get it to work? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I just received my Kenwood kit and everything is super easy plug n play. However, in the video, you briefly mention the reverse camera during the install and then show how it works, but you do not address the purple reverse wire on the radio. Does that wire attach to the existing camera? Thank you.

Where is the RCA located, and is there a video feed available for connection into the Kenwood? I’m guessing this may be a completely separate wiring issue and may require an additional harness, correct? Thank you.

The camera has wiring that came with it. The wire that you run from the back of the car to the front has a yellow rca with a red wire. The yellow rca plugs into the rearview camera port and the red wire gets connected to the purple/white. At the back of the car at the reverse light you also needed to connect wiring.@@NikkiandJason95

I performed this exact install using your harnesses. However I no longer have button illumination on the climate control when the headlights turn on. Any idea why?

Did you cut the wire by any chance? You just have to tap it but I could be it got cut or the fuse has blown.

@@AcuraAudioGarage yes I cut it and spliced the orange wire into it. The display still works, showing the temp settings etc, but no illumination on the buttons when the headlights kick on.
