Hello, I tried just following your steps, but when I run $ORACLE_HOME/perl/bin/perl catctl.pl catupgrd.sql, received : ERROR at line 13: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist SQL> SELECT TO_NUMBER('NONUPGRADED_TABLEDATA') FROM SYS.V$INSTANCE 2 ; SELECT TO_NUMBER('NONUPGRADED_TABLEDATA') FROM SYS.V$INSTANCE * ERROR at line 1: ORA-01722: invalid number In my original database I did not run any pre-upgrade script, should I run it before performing the backup to correct these errors?
