This happens with the new tvs, one , or two years old. But the older ones don't get latest updates. I thougt you show us how to instal updates on older tvs Samsung. But as always, you are the best Saki, good job.

How do you update a Samsung 6300 smart TV? I know how to do the basic updating the TV. My TV seems to no longer get new apps and most apps are old and out of date. It's not even the same dashboard as you have. I'm guessing there has to be a way to sideload it.

Nice video but Samsung doesn’t update their app software. You are pretty much stuck with what it has when you buy it. We have had ours for 3 years and there is never an update available. They pretty much force you to buy a new tv if you want anything new. Ripoff. Our Samsung TV’s LED caps are falling off on the inside of the tv giving us white dots all over our screen while viewing. We are are in the market now looking for a new one. I can assure you it will not be a Samsung. Junk quality and no updates.

Samsung as a tv is ok, but system is trash. Android system on tv s is the future..

On my Samsung TV U55MU6400 it has the software update greyed out. There are no other options to update. If I click on the Software Update it states that this function is not available.

That means that it lost it's connection to the Samsung server which happens after a while. Power cycle your TV by unplugging the the power cord and check again right away.

Same here...this is really frustrating...so what did you guys come with to fix the problem?

Im having trouble playing some webripped files with my Samsung TV. It seems it doesnt have the proper codecs to play them and I've already updated my TV. Is there anything else I can do?

Try a factory reset to see if that helps.

I have a 55 inch TV and I noticed the white spots coming in the middle of the screen it a un55 model I got back in 2018 so it probably screen burn or getting old plus I am not eligible for updates on tv it older and doesn't get that option I orginal paid 1800 for it and noe it probably worth 200 or less am interested in a 65 inch tv but need a Bushey model but like the newer model neo 8k but not the 5,000 usd price tag

I've got 55" , I started to get white spots aswel but I had insurance £3.50 month , they sorted it out its clear like brand new!!

Mine is set to auto so it didn't need it. But thanks for the info.

Did you try installing the firmware via USB through Samsung's websites? I would first try a factory reset and if that doesn't work after trying the update through the TV. Then I'd go to Samsung's website and go to support. Put in your model number and download the latest firmware onto a USB drive.

I tried that but the update option is greyed out and says it's not available?

Click Home button, Source, TV. Make sure you have green check ✅ on TV. Come back to update and now you should be able to update your TV

I was trying to figure out this and what worked for me was going into -General, Intelligent Mode Settings (was On) Click on "intelligent mode" to turn OFF, then click again. I also went into Apple Air play settings by mistake then backed out. The software update and other settings were not grayed out anymore. Hope it helps

I keep mine auto update deactivated cause I want to install the firmware myself in case the new firmware has lots of issues.

If you can’t update it just get a Roku or fire stick. Problem solved

Your kind of misleading people with the video title. You should change the name of this clip to”Samsung smart tv os review” if you did I would probably not hate you for wasting my time watching this video like I do rn
