Lord, allow me to always be able to hear Your Holy Spirit LOUD and CLEAR.

The Lord revealed this to me about the Spirit not glorifying Himself many years ago when the charismatic movement was intermingling with the Pentecostal church. Everybody's attention was focused on the Spirit and and Spiritual gifts and manifestations and not on the Lord Jesus or personal holiness, sanctification and separation from the world. Good message!

Yes why do the churches pray to the Holy Spirit and ask him to come? He is within us. We should be asking Jesus. So confusing, until I heard thos nugget of wisdom

God is a spirit. A spirit does not have flesh and blood. So God robed himself in flesh and died on the cross for us. God is holy that is the Holy Ghost the disciples received on the day of Pentecost. If he loved us so much, why would he send someone else to die for us? He came himself.

It's irritating to listen to the same thing 10000x times over and over. Use at least three music loops combined if you want to enhance the message.

According to God's Word this is true. The Holy Spirit has a position as comforter . Jesus, (im paraphrasing) told his disciples to wait for the comforter - Holy Spirit❤. In Aug I slept on my couch uncomfortable within myself over decisions I had to make. In the early morning I was awakened by a weight on my shoulder. My eyes opened & in a moment I witnessed a man-like kneeling, head bowed apparition, with his arm extended to my shoulder. I broke in fear & that interupted the apparition, it disappeared. I wish he would come back. Ive promised to do my best not to fear❤

I was so frightened by life that I began to speak with God the Father like I'm speaking with you now. It's been over a year since my spouse was taken away by the sheriff's officers of our county and I promise you the love from God is immeasurable, it never ends. @@cathysilva5011I used to wonder that too, and if it helps, this is the conclusion I came to. I only pray to the Father for two Scriptural reasons: Jesus modeled how to pray and addressed the Father (Matthew 6:9-13), and Jesus said anything we pray *in His name* would be done (John 14:13). If we're praying in Jesus' name, I believe it means that we wouldn't be addressing Him in prayer but the Father. Also, Jesus prayed to the Father, and He is our example/pattern. The Father and the Son are one, but I believe Scripture says to pray to the Father. I hope that helps!

Hallelujah! Thank you for this! I made my own study last year regarding whether we are to address prayers to the Holy Spirit because I heard more and more people pray like that. I could find no reference in the Bible that we are to address the Holy Spirit directly. So this teaching of Derek Prince confirms to me that it is wrong to do so. The Holy Spirit is according to Jesus: the One who guides us in all truth; who is our Helper; our Comforter; our Advocate and WHO BRINGS GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST!

Yes, the Holy Spirit is God and it is thru his Spirit that he communicates and convicts us… our fellowship with the Father and Jesus is thru his spirit. I believe what Brother Prince is trying to say is that he is not independent of God, and is warning believers from other spirits that speak of themselves and fail to honor the Lord. We are to discern the spirits to avoid false prophets. 1John 4:1.

Where in the Bible is the Holy Ghost called a servant???

Didn't the Holy Spirit draw attention to Himself and glorify Himself in Acts 13:2? I know He's here to glorify Jesus but is that ALL He does ALL the time?

No, wrong. It is the spirit of the Almighty GOD. Just like you have a spirit.

I love DP, BUT...The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father, as Jesus said. He does have a ministry...he draws, he convicts you of your sin, he glorifies Jesus Christ, he administers the Church on earth, he indwells believers for power to become the sons of God, he is the occupier of the vessel throughout the Temples of our bodies, he heals, he warns, he counsels, he is mighty, he's the helper, the comforter, and on and on. Not sure what DP is saying out of his flesh in this video, but never ever think the Spirit has no ministry and is nothing more than a servant. Ever. The Spirit can be grieved, and you definitely don't want that. He is my dear friend and my Intercessor bringing me into proper attitude of tears and weeping before the Father in times of trouble. Do not even ever get close to saying anything like DP just said, in this near death video. He's lost his mind.

I think the intent is to explain some sects that are solely Pentecostal. I have experienced and watched them, and can relate to what he is trying to say here. I do agree that some sentences seem a bit of an overstatement.

Dear friend - You might want to listen to this again. DP NEVER SAID that the Holy Spirit doesn't have a ministry. On the contrary, at 5:55 DP says the Holy Spirit has a ministry and that he is trying to help believers discern what that ministry is, and what it is not. After all, the term "ministry of the Spirit" literally means, the service of the Spirit. Does the Spirit draw? Yes, but in the service of the Father. Does the Spirit convict? Yes, but according to the Word of the Father. DP never denies any of this, he is simply clarifying that the ministry of the Spirit is in the service of the Father and the Son. This in no way diminishes the Spirit or His ministry. After all, Jesus said that the greatest would be the servant of all. Matt 23:11.

The souls of the people or sons of GOD are not citizens of this world.
