Truck reviews are on the way, I did two best trucks round-ups that someone else is editing so I could make three others (the final video for this week is coming soon). Then it's truck reviews!

I really enjoy SnowRunner since some time and I got distraught since there seemed no way to get to both landslide quests. Thanks to your calm voice and completely showing the way I got both nicely done! Thank you very much. :) I used the ZiKZ 605R, too. I'm looking forward to more videos of you.

You can easily use the asphalt road and pass through the rockfall with a help of CAT 745c just winch it to the back of the ZIKZ and let it push you forward(up actually) till you find a winch point

Thanks for this Ben. My way of doing this was saying screw it grabbing my Tatarin and towing the thing all the way back to the garage then grabbing a couple maintenance frame addon trucks to fix it. Wish I would have known that I could clear that landslide in the road, but curse the devs for not putting the task next to it like in previous maps.

Yes I'm not sure I always like the need to drive to a task and sometimes you initiate it and it still doesn't show properly. But at least you managed to do it anyway!

The Forester is probably the best vehicle in the game for logging trains. Because of its suspension and low frame, it's extremely stable over rough ground, and isn't likely to tip when being towed. The player can drive a less stable truck in front with the Forester behind and easily complete double log deliveries. Also, it's very handy for salvaging dropped logs; I had the CAT 745C fall off a road in Amur and get stuck on a hillside, but thanks to the Forester, I saved the logs and didn't have to spend an hour and a half getting a new batch.

Aahh Yes. Pain and misery . This truck fell out of favor in this game a while ago, but the Freightliner 114SD works really great in Maine. It is small enough to fit through the concrete/bungee twigs but strong enough to get just about anywhere. Chained tires are recommended, they just have more bite. Awesome vid Ben! Thanks 🤘😬🤘

Another great video, thanks! I keep waiting to get sick of this game but it hasn't happened. I'm glad they keep adding new maps, vehicles and features. One feature I would really like to see is a Radio in the vehicle, like they have in GTA or even a CB radio with trucker talk. I would also like to see more life in the world. It's strange driving around and there are no people or cars. Adding some NPC and a radio would really help bring the game to life more.

to get to new Tayga is a way longer task... repair a sawmill near garage and get there special scout trailer from 2nd map (no need to repair tunnel ATM)

It's fairly easy: you walk up to that thing, stick the key in the doorlock and unlock it. ... ...oh sorry, wrong movie!🤪😁😁😁

You seem to enjoy pain more since you took the longer route there is a trail down by the main road that gets you there much faster

Oh absolutely, I hope there are easier routes. The one I draw on the map in the article is probably doable in a bigger truck and that's faster too.

Oh Snowrunner devs, we've complained multiple times about the FPS drops and it's been radio silence.

It's especially annoying when filming and my PC is hardly slow. Hopefully a bit more news about this type of stuff in 2022.

True. That’s so annoying. Even lowered the resolution and some settings but it’s still happening. And it’s not that my pc can’t handle it, it’s just badly optimized.

I finished this map the other day. When I started, the first thing I did was grab the Forester. Took my Tatarin and went cross country through the trees. Got to it, realized I needed to repair it and decided to...tow it. This involved pulling that beast out and through some more trees to the road, which I was not aware was blocked at that time. Well the Tatarin is definitely a beast and managed to crawl over the rocks and winch the Forester over as well. Got it pulled out and parked at the gas station (which had no fuel), so I continued to tow it all the way back to the garage. There I just popped out a truck that still had a van body (because the garage doesn't allow customization at the start), fixed it and fuelled it up. Boom, it was mine. Then I grabbed my other Tatarin (because 2 is better than 1 - Freebies, am I right?) and went down to get the upgrade for it. Needed help from my Rezvani when my Tatarin decided that being upside-down was more fun, but nonetheless I got the job done right off the bat.

@@ATribeCalledCars I actually really like the Forester. It's slow and engine is a bit small, but with that suspension it can crawl over rough terrain and sizeable rocks and keep all the tires on the ground. I've used it for rock crawling as well, if you have the time and patience for it to SLOWLY drive there.

I wont even pretend it was a walk in the park, but I made it over all the rocks/obstacles, through the forest, and into the swamp to get this thing in my Pacific p512 pf with a van body and a fuel trailer attached to bring this Aramatsu home lol. It took some effort and some clutch winch maneuvers but I did it and didn’t flip or get stuck once! I swear the pacific trucks are too effective.

Good work! The Pacifics do seem lacking, AWD makes such a big difference and the P16 is missing it. Tyre bonus or not, you seem to get stuck a lot.

This task would be nice for Ken. I could pull a Ford full of supplies with a Ken equipped with maintenance addon and it would be enough.

If anyone is using mod trucks but want to keep realism a wee bit, i'd recommend any of RNGR's trucks to recover the Aramatsu.

Best tip is actually read the task description so you don't spend hours winching it out from the swamp only to find all you had to do is repair and refuel the damn thing!

I shall bear it in mind, got quite a few videos I need to catch up on for SnowRunner.

got weird bug in forester, if you load more unpacked thats 7 worth of packed logs in pc vanilla. one of bottom log pings to other logs flying the rest all over map. leaving just 1-2 in log carrier.

Are you going to upload a vid on the hunted mansion and the Dixie boys truck stop from maximum overdrive on the Maine map or even a reboot/ list of all the spooky/scary things in snowrunner like all the animals people like the fisherman and bigfoot?

I dont understand why ppl find the wildlife in snowrunner scary..? They are supposed to be there, back up and they reappear...

I used the cat 745c to tow it back and then I just repaired and refueled it

@@ATribeCalledCars yea definitely when I unlocked the cat in Alaska It was literally my biggest money make for all of Michigan and Alaska it’s unstoppable it will literally Anything and climb anything easily my top 5 favorite vehicles in the game

Super helpful but one question I can't seem to find anywhere, do you need the garage here to unlock the truck in to store?? Or can you buy it as soon as you repair it. Thanks man!

You should be able to have it without needing a garage and buy another from the store. It's just without the garage you can't park to retain, which means it's limited to that region.

I think it is the Project 20-67 but I could be wrong. I have a few rock crawler mods, search crawler and you may spot it if my original suggestion is wrong.

You used the main road? I just drove up the mountain behind the garage and drove there, that’s also how I cleared up the landslide

I got Ziks 605 and an service trailer thrue woods. Dont ask how. But that was not an easy task. But its doable ... 🤷

I would like to unlock the Kola peninsula because I can now only play Michigan and Alaska and Taymyr and how do I unlock the new map because the entire map of Kola peninsula has a lock on it I would like to know how to do that Do I have to finish Michigan and Alaska and Taymyr or do I have to complete all the trails or do I just really have to buy the land Kola peninsula online I play on the PlayStation

I remember getting there easier then that.

The second route drawn on my map is faster but I seem to remember thinking the Zikz 605R would struggle. I'm sure there are even better ways.

That’s why I like the Alt+F4 strat so much 😂 Flipped? Quit the game with Alt+F4, restart it and hopefully the checkpoint is before you flipped.
