Absolutely. Finding this thing on the ground feels about as rare as getting the dev chest in fortnite reload right now, and trying to buy it from the npc is pretty much a no go right now. I just left a game trying to get him when about a quarter of the lobby landed there, someone instantly pickaxed the magneto npc so _nobody_ could get it. I’d rather take my chances with rng to find it on the ground than buy it from magneto himself.

I've noticed that items that are part of a quest where you have to, "Collect" them, they can't already be collected in any way. Since that player already collected it from Magneto it won't work for you if you pick it up. There are quests where you have to collect medallions and if you pick them up from eliminated players it doesn't count there either. Has to a, "fresh" item in that sense. I think Epic did that as a way to stop players from just swapping items back and forth but it's affected picking up items from enemy players as well.

@@JAMES-F13YT Yeah I was playing and I landed near magneto but not at him and when everybody left I went there and searched a chest and i got it and then I completed all of the page 1 quests on mobile

You have to find a natural spawn and pick up magneto power, you cant get it second hand from a kill

A tip for the page 2 quests, I used wastelander NPCs near the reckless railways satellite antenna for opponent kills and blocking hits. Hardest part is just getting Magneto's power again. Rest is easy enough in team rumble.

This is exactly what I did, just use the NPCs lmao.

What i like to do, is wait on the quests for at least a week. It usually works because everyone else already would have it done.

I did the Deal 2,000 damage from above quest by challenging Cerberus and standing on the thing above and just lazering him.

Collect always seems weird in all of these challenges since it never seems to count if you get it from another player. Only if you buy it or find one before another player does is when it seems to work.

His whole set is AMAZING! absolutely love it! Hoping season we get more mutant characters like Cyclops or Beast.

i love how like an hour ago, i was able to buy it or elim the bot that bought it. last ten minutes ive been struggling to do the blocking quest. i have one other but gosh darn. ill attempt to do the one story or above quest and try doing the glider quest with a friendo later. i guess

The best way to do the block hits quest is you can get a friend to shoot your shield and that will count that’s how I got it😊

Right now the only easy way to do this is to invite yourself over the fortnite mobile and put you in the Bot Lobby, that's the easiest way to get the skin and complete all the challenges

For the glider, get the magneto power and get a bot to attack you. That’s what I did

land in a place with bots (i went to nitro drome) grab a couple weapons, get to the roof and shoot a bot, they all come to you to deal the damage from a thing or higher

Hi TaborTeam! I found the magneto gloves in chests in NOT in named locations AND when you try the block shots - your team mate can shoot at you- Much easier than looking for someone to shoot you

I don’t think you have to buy it from Magneto, I think each item has an ID, and you have to be the first player in the match to hold that specific Mythic. So if you get it as floor loot or from a chest, before another player has held it, it should work.

I just started using that skin too! Exept I use the white edit style

My guide for Page 1 and 2 PAGE 1 Visit the weapon X lab: For this just land nearby and don't shoot or pickaxe anyone, everyone just wants to get it over with. Literally everyone was pacifist for my match until after they visited the bunker. If you want, pop a nitro splash and run like hell in and out. Collect Magneto gauntlets: Honestly I had good luck with Grand Glacier. Just avoid the actual NPC that sells you them bc right now everyone is landing there, only do it if you can handly the insanity. They CAN appear in chests so loot them when possible. Travel in air: Just find a cliff and spam the item until you land, then climb back up and repeat. Hit 10 vehicles: Turns out they don't even need to be moving, or have other players even in them. You can hit the above and vehicles with NPCs, and even stationary ones too. I would find a gas station and hit the various cars there, they blow up fast due to this ability so you need to find around 4 or 5. PAGE 2 Eliminate 5 opponents: For my game NPCs did NOT work for this, so either get the gauntlets early on and kill players that haven't looted up yet, or snipe people whenever you see a firefight going on from a safe distance. Alternatively you can just play good and go around looking for kills, especially near 25 people remaining. Block 200 hits: Just use an NPC, real players can go around the shield. Pickaxe an NPC that has an SMG or Assault Rifle and block their hits. Bow and Shotgun NPCs work too but they take way longer because they don't shoot as many rounds per second. Damage opponents from first story or higher: NPCs don't work for this, I think. For this one, hit cars with people in them from a small cliff/roof, because the gauntlets do massive damage to cars so this will fill up the 2000 points required fast. Configure 3 rift beacons: Go for one at a time, if you wanna play it safe, do one per match. If you wanna go all out, take some medkits in case one beacon is in the storm to abuse medkit strat after you activate it. For movement to them use a car or nitro fists. That's how I got everything in under 2 hours! Really fun and rewarding quests!

For the block hits quest just did team rumble and play with a friend and tell them to hit your shield it works

@TaborHill I’m pretty sure any “collect” quests you have to be the first to collect it. I’ve had teammates drop stuff and it will not count until you are the one to pick it up first.

It was changed. You have to pick it up off the ground,find it in chests,buying it. If you elemanate someone who has already collected it it won’t count which is dumb

Magneto is one of my favorite X-Men characters

I'm not even lying about this I was able to complete page one and have one more quest for page 2 in the span of three matches

It was hard at the beginning but once I found out the power spawns on ground and chest it was easy did all of them before this video came out

I got Magneto's powers item by simply opening a chest and finishing the challenge. See this, it makes me question if there's a current glitch or so

the quest will only count if you're the one to get the gloves first, either from a chest or magneto if you kill someone and take their gloves it doesn't count YOU have to be the one to find them first

I'm relatively new and thought it was easy as heck. Found it during a match and just used the turbo launchers and boom done. Slowly working on the 2nd page but its not impossible. Only need 3 not all of a page.

It was pretty hard to get him + in bot lobbies

The spray quest is as bad as search 7 chest back in chapter 1 both are a pain 😭🙏

Finding Magneto gauntlets is super hard. It frustrates me finding that gauntlets. It’s been multiple matches not a single gauntlet I found. No gaunlet means I can’t finish the quest. The whole lobby lands at Magneto npc location.
