This is very interesting Nozi, Please tell me what to do to join such investment, I went to my bank and they did not have the explanation you have, I was so disappointed.
I wish I knew this a long time ago. In fact I wish my parents also knew this. Still I can do it for my child. If I live long enough. As for myself I don't have time to wait for 50yrs. I keep this video as note and teach my son this strategy

compounding works on money that is growing on top of money. So you should contribute to your investments (whatever they are) regularly and grow them over long periods of time. If for example you buy 3 ETFs, then you invest regularly in those 3 ETFs over long periods of time and re-invest any dividends that you receive.

@@nomhlemahlangu8025 10% is the average over long term. This means some years it will be higher and other years it will be lower, but if you take the average of all those ups and downs it’s about 10%.

But there is no such thing as 10% monthly interest my love. Interest is paid out annually. If you want to calculate the monthly rate, divide the annual rate by 12.

You didn't watch the video until the end. I didn't say you're forced to invest for 47 years. I said you can become a millionaire earlier than that by investing much more than just R100, it is entirely up to you. Don't just argue for the sake of just arguing 🙄

I don't know what your point is. What percentage of people in South Africa or even in the entire world have $52 000?? Not much. One million Rand is not nothing and it is certainly much better than R0. If you're not aware of this, it means you're severely blinded by your own privilege.
