I tried this and it didn’t work, does both devices have to be under the same iCloud?

If it’s off and you check there location through share location will it still show the green flashing indicator

Does it also work if u check on devises

Is there any way to know when they click to see your location?

yes, when u see an arrow with a blue circle around it on the top left corner next to the time that’s when someone is checking ur location but if u see the arrow but it isn’t surrounded by the blue circle then the person is just on the app and not directly checking urs
