I really enjoy the stealth and appreciate how ungodly customizable ur gear and ur Ghost is. Where it matters most they put the emphasis but nothing and i mean can beat a rock-solid stealth game.

Great settings, been using them for a while. Really changes the entire dynamic of the game. Its the only way to play ANY tactical shooter. If ur breezing right through ur cheating urself out of a truly immersive experience. I don’t mind the drones now so much since we can reduce them but i DO like that we get parts from them - so they don’t totally lose their value.

Talking of settings, you really changed the game for me. As soon as I saw your vids with absolutely no hud, I saw just how better this game is without hud. Big thanks! Also, big congrats on your first sponsor. Can't wait for what's to come!

@@CusterPlays I remember in the beta there was actually a no hud option in the settings and they actually recommend it when you entered the big metal house thingy in the intro of the game. Kidna weird that they removed the option.

Totally agree. No HUD has completely changed this game for me. I wasn't interested before and now I love the immersion!

Wow this is incredible. I remember hating the gameplay at launch. But this feels like a totally different game.

I keep ammo loss on reload off because it's realistic to always retain your mags after firing. the only time you realistically drop mags is if its a really fast paced high stakes situation

Yeah a lot of people don't know what a tactical reload is. Whenever I play airsoft in indoor arenas I use a tactical reload cuz u never know if that last 5 rounds will save u or not.

Great video, you always have awesome content. I completed the main story at launch and enjoyed it but the game had many, many issues. I've come back to it now on PS5 after 2 years and I love it. Getting rid of the HUD and enemy markers was the single best thing I did for this game. When I first turned them off, I was getting mowed down because I was too careless. Now, I can operate nice and smooth, checking corners, always in cover and droning areas prior to moving into the open. The game has become so much more immersive and challenging. I do keep the vehicles/shop on at the bivouac just for convenience of avoiding major trekking. I also like the 'lose ammo on reload' setting. I never use any of the rations or survivability buffs. Grinding to get my Assault level 10, taking me a long time. Looking forward to the major update with Motherland and the new enemy types. The only thing this game really needs is improved enemy AI.

I hope that IA recieve improvements, the new enemys are very cool but Breakpoint fail with the IA, sometimes dont notice your pressence or run in line for died

@@diego7929 The AI are pretty competent when they spot you (grenades, flanking, etc). Unfortunately they are pretty bad at spotting you. You can clear entire bases without them even noticing. They also talk really loudly all the time giving away their positions.

Dude i changed my settings to yours yesterday and omg im having so much fun. You really have to pick and choose your shots carefully which makes it so much fun

Just bought this game again after selling it months ago,but now with the next gen upgrade and playing it in realism mode it feels like a whole new game.

Just started playing the game late 2022. I agree with every point, The Ballistic Advantage Perk is crucial, and it's not really a "perk" it actually increases the realism of the firearms. I'm not a fan of the "survival" theme and wish it was more milsim like GR1, but I truly appreciate how the devs made the game almost entirely customizable. That was a major reason I finally bought it.

This makes me realize that I chose the perfect time to start playing. The only issue Ive discovered so far in game is sometimes I lose audio from enemies and their guns when I get discovered but other than that the game handles so amazingly. Need to tweak my settings a bit more like with the injuries too. Ive had to stop combat just to bandage up way too often to my liking and I may swap that out like you have done as well.

When a sniper sees you and in extreme you are down in one shot. Been enjoying extreme and no hud this past few months. Really change how to play the game and complete missions.

Here's hoping your channel blows up with the new/returning players with the new update. Good content dude.

I got the same options but the injury I got it on often as I like the mechanics to be In a firefight and have to find a place to heal in order to continue or just keep fighting wounded such as with a twisted ankle etc really rocks

I do like the animation for when you are injured

It's interesting you suggest to "Turn off" drone presence. In a real world setting, there would be drone patrols looking for, say, ghosts who crashed in helicopters trying to breach your island. The drones would go on mission patrols in hopes in locating any survivors. If and when they do locate someone who doesn't belong on the island, they would mark the location of the last whereabouts of the intruder so ground units can swarm more easily. I say keep the drone patrols on because they add much more intensity and realism to the immersive presence we are trying to create here, the same way you say to leave the helicopter patrols on. You crashed on an island. Everyone is against you. Everyone is looking for you. Your job is to stay alive by eluding the security presence that is all around you, and at the same time, accept missions that will deal a loss to the villains that are hunting you which eventually, hopefully, lead to their downfall and your and the inhabitants victory.

Azraël drones exist in real life, though they're usually used for air support instead of searching for hostiles.

Gonna give these settings a go. Can’t wait to see how the gameplay changes.

Nice to see the OTS-03 get some airtime! I leave the hud on so I can find loot caches and keep my bearings, but all types of enemy marking is turned off. Ammo loss hasn't affected my gameplay at all. I have injuries always on, and it's a real pain to get shot and survive it. Darkest night gives me a headache from eyestrain. I also play on advanced because I felt the enemy response if you got sighted was ridiculous. Grenades dropping in on you when no one was within 200 meters, and the enemy knowing exactly where I was even when I moved over 400 meters away and went prone camo in bushes. Those "hive mind" enemy tactics are B.S.

This is exactly why I reduce difficulty levels on all games. No one has really found that balance. Either the enemies are bullet sponges, or they have x-ray vision and perfect aim. More commonly, it's some combination of all that. BS game mechanics aren't "realistic" just because they're found at higher levels.

I think the option of ammo loss on reload doesnt make much sense because u cant choose between a fast reload or a tactical reload(Ex: ground branch, zero hour, IS,etc). If u do a reload to keep your mag (which is the default reload in Breakpoint) you shouldn't be losing rounds. And since the only way to do a fast reload in this game is having a weapon with more mobility I dont see the point of that setting. Good video btw!

They went the lazy route with the mechanic. I understand why but what they should have done is give you a magazine hud that let's you carry 5-7 magazines with their corresponding values that register whether fully empty, half empty, or only missing a few rounds. Allowing you to replenish each magazine when you're in safety.

I feel like you still might as well still keep it on, because the game gives you a ton of magazines to work with and you can always resupply at a bivouac, so it should be hard to run out of ammo unless you literally reload after every kill

@@CusterPlays yeah but it only has north, west, east and south with no numbers in between. He's saying you can't call out "he's 265" for example, similar to warzone or insurgency sandstorm where you have exact numbers to call out.

After this vid i finally cam back after 2 years

I just recently got the base game a few months back, and after completing episode 1, was craving more. The Ulitmate Edition just had a sale... so I upgraded. The settings you lay out here are basically the settings I'm working towards. But I'm easing myself in gently. 😂 E.g. I'm so used to reloading too often that I'm scared to turn on "lose ammo on reload". And I have a 100 round mag, so... that's a lot to lose. Maybe I should switch to the small mag and switch on "lose ammo". 😬 I've got most of the same settings as you, but I still have the mini-map/compass and some location markers. Think I'd be lost otherwise. I'm also tempted to finally bump up to Extreme difficulty. You've inspired me to push myself.

Dont use that option, it's not realistic anyways since theres no way for u to do a tactical reload over a regular reload.

I play almost the same as you except I have injury on max, and stamina on max because I 100% the map so it makes it fun for me, unless I am playing a main mission in which I dial down especially if there are drones.

I add when I'm playing that I can't use bandages in a middle of alert just when the enemies back to the normal state I'm able to heal my wound and just one at least I reach a vivac where I can use all as I need

I have a question for u or someone in chat. U can have all skill points in Breakpoint? Skill points, passives, perks and classes (echelon, medic...). Because u need 4 points for every class, 4 for guns in MK2, and a lot of for skill tree and I don't know how much u can get. Thanks and sorry if I can't express myself, I don't know too much English.

anyone else having issues of the game crashing after a second of launching? i tried playing yesterday night and it kept happening. i used the Ubisoft verify file to see if that can help and deleted the Temp.World file i saw in some reddit post. only thing left is to uninstall and reinstall and i dont want to do that. any suggestions?

Can you make a video on weapon stats in realism mode? Not sure why I think most smgs do more dmg and have more range than assault rifles. Doesn’t make any sense.

What the game needs to do is make the range which AI can spot you by default MUCH higher and then implement a camouflage system to cut that down. An old WW2 singleplayer tactical game, Hidden and Dangerous 2, would have a distance number on your hud, it was how far away you can be detected, it only took into account your stance (crouch, stand, etc...) this would obviously take into account the environment and your camo matching and reduce the distance if they match. They should add that too. That way dropping into a snow base with a snow ghillie doesn't just look cool, it serves a gameplay purpose.

This exactly. I think a good trade off for more cumbersome loadouts like a ghillie would be a slight movement speed penalty as well. Nothing crazy but enough to make players REALLY consider the loadout they're bringing into a given environment and the possible engagements they may get in.

Hidden & Dangerous 2...... What a fantastic game from shool days. If i can add something, on tier 1 in wildlands enemies would spot you much better than in breakpoint.

I think i'm gonna try some of these when i get Breakpoint but i am most definitely gonna keep the HUD on, i tried to play without it in Wildlands and it's definitely not for me.

You play exactly the same way I do, the only difference is that I kicked it up a notch • stamina on extreme so I always have to mind my stamina consumption • bandages on few • injuries (depending on my mood) always or often To counter all the disadvantages, I added the loot icons on small dynamic so I have to either get very close to it to see it or aim at it If I have my injury on always I have the enemy icon on dynamic as well which means it’ll only pop up if I noticed the enemy prior by aiming at it. Also added the health regen to partial because it only refills half a bar of health and I still need two red syringes to heal up completely. A lot of people who’ve played breakpoint probably don’t know about the animation when you’re completely injured and limping/crawling away with migraine and stumbling. it really shows the survivalist aspect of nomad that Ubisoft really wanted to Implement

I play very similar to you, I think I will add the small loot dynamic markers as you have suggested. I feel like I'm prob missing a tonne of loot because I have all the markers turned off.

Running out of stamina after sprinting for a few seconds is extremely unrealistic for a special forces soldier who would be super fit lol

@@martintownley5803 yeah, but u need to remember that the ballistic vest, ammo, weapons, and anything you got affects on your corporal weight so its a lot diferent running only with your nikes, shorts, and a shirt vs running with a minimum of 25 kg extra in your body

@@Danexdust true, but military train with that kind of weight of gear on every day. You would still be able to sprint with all that gear on for more than what the extreme settings in the game does as a special forces soldier. At the end of the day it’s just a game, so as long as we all enjoy playing however we like it’s all good 😊

Does this game have an annoying sound when you get spotted? If so, can you turn it off?

Can you just turn the scifi drones off and still have the realistic drones?

For some reason my teammate(s) still carry two primary weapons after I disabled it in the settings.

I played the shit out of wildlands and when this first came out I was soooooo excited till I actually got it and started playing it and I was highly disappointed untill more and more content came out and the changing of the settings and now it's the best open world tactical shooters. I just wish they would add stuff from wildlands like the environments. I miss having a good desert environment. I have so many desert camo choices but no environment to use them on

Only reason I don't use dark night on is because the NVGs in this game are all blurred, makes me feel like I need glasses to be able to see. Hate it, makes my eyes so tired.

I wish there was a way for players in your session to copy you game parameters. I play with a friend, and it would be much easier is he could copy my parameters instead of going thru everything so we can have the same setup. Also, i HATE the look of the night vision in this game.... i never feel like going to a night op, unlike other games i play (like Arma).

The best part about this game is if you find these settings too much or the game too hard. You can pretty much fine tune it to be your own personal tacitical shooter.

I like to turn everything off but the crosshair

as for me, I play with the silmilar difficulty (Tactics - Veteran), and with haircross ON, because I hate laser pointers :) also, syringes are ON, since bandages are basically not for gunfights use at all (like in real life, IMO), and the syringe may contain some sort of "adrenalin"-like stuff ))

Dont get me wrong looter shooters or hack n slash games like diablo are amazing but we all cane to this game for this

I've turned drones off but I'm still getting the robot turrets at some bases in free roam can any one help and explain why this is happening ?

Those aren’t classified as drones, drones are like azraels, spotter drones, siren drones, etc etc

Breakpoint from the Division version to an actual Ghost Recon version where every gun has it's own type of lethality and where Adversaries are equal based on their loadout.

+60 range... but it didnt say snipers only so pistols have +60 range too?

Yep, 60 fps. This is PS5 gameplay

So I kept the drones turned on. I use the Pathfinder class and I find it unrealistic if I'm hacking into a drone that technically does not exist if I have them turned off.

thing for me ist that the ammo loss on reload makes sense with some animation, while others look like the character retains the magazine. I absolutly think that "tactical" shooters shoot look at insurgency sandstorm and give you a tactical reload and a speed reload

if you want more immersion, just play without supressor. Suppressor in GR is OP as fk and makes the game boring. The most immportant toggle for realism mode is still missing - disable Heavy gunners. I hate that shit

Suppressors would work IF Ubisoft actually bothered to couple them with subsonic rounds. A smg like a mp5 with subsonic rounds and a suppressor actually makes it a pretty low report. Now granted if someone is standing close enough they would still hear it. However rifles and larger calibur guns this is pretty moot. You would hear it regardless if you were even remotely close.

Anyone here have an idea on how to make hte game look good on PC? I turn the Temporal Aliasing off (i keep the AA on because I dont like the look of it without lol), and have reshade installed using the AMD sharpening and Lumasharpening. I play at 1440p with a 3700x and a 3070 for reference. I have looked around on Google and tried a few things but just wondering if I am missing something. KZread videos look really good but the game looks like trash in person haha. So any tips would be appreciated
