How do you add fusible interfacing to this?

Hi there. I used this product over a year ago to make a large swim/snorkel bag for a friend. Now it has rips and large sheets of vinyl tearing off of the bag. I did follow the instructions as directed. Possibly some of the problem might be that my friend jams her very large bag into a locker which has sharp points on it, causing it to become snagged. How do you suggest repairing this? Just rip the large pieces off of the bag in different sections and re-apply new vinyl? I really could use your help. Thanks.

I would inspect the other side of the fabric to see if there is physical damage to the fabric as well. If it's not damaged, I would see if you can gently pull the vinyl off in a small area and replace it with a new piece of a similar size. My bet would be though that there will be seams where the replacement vinyl goes that may become a weak point in the future.
