Ryan, I can’t tell you how awesome I find your channel to be. Ever since I was a kid, all I’ve ever wanted to do was be involved in film. Actor, director, DOP, grip whatever. I just wanted to be involved in the magic. Over the last 2 years I’ve been consuming way more shorts on KZread than features. There’s so much more zing to them I find. But I still love feature length as well. Anyway, I’m rambling because I haven’t had a shirt resonate with me quite like this one. Sometimes I have trouble sleeping and this subject matter was fun to watch unfold. The creativity on your channel is refreshing and I’m thankful for your behind the scenes videos. It’s wicked cool to see your thought process. So much work goes into such a small runtime. I’m a fan for life my friend, my only regret is not finding you channel sooner than 2 weeks ago.
great video (and quite a sick poster in the background too)
this is what I love to see, these videos help so much!
Glad you’re doing more videos on the process for this one, can’t get enough of these kinds of videos. Really enjoyable.
I love it dude!!! This is so good!
GREAT video! Loved seeing the whole process.
Thanks so much for showing how the whole pre-production and production process went for this, Ryan! As someone who’s still learning the craft I always watch these and try to learn as much as I can and it’s always great seeing these.
Your film making process is amazing to watch. These making of videos are so great and so enjoyable to watch. I would definetely love to try something dialogue driven in the future, and you’re an inspiration to try. Keep doing your thing, super excited to see what else is to come!
Great work as always. Love watching your videos! Keep up the great work bud
It's shocking how low the view count of this content has when it's this great and I look forward to more of this stuff. A while back I added you to my list of filmmaker channels I watch when I'm about to shoot something. Good on you dude. Keep making this stuff. And hope to see you around Los Angeles at some point!
Always a pleasure watching your videos and finding someone to relate to. I recently shot all the scenes to my horror short of 18 pages which took a few months and sadly have to reshoot 2 scenes due to poor lighting. I just think of myself making a bts and explaining all the pitfalls and this inspires me. Looking forward to more BTS!
This is wonderful insight! Thanks for this video
What camera did you use for the short film?
