Wow this was awesome; phenomenal descriptive points to apply to life. I laughed when I first saw this title... it's as if you took a peek into my conversation with God this morning: Ha! I don't know this Pastor, but for whatever reason I've been getting these teachings exactly as I'm seeking the Lord, & bam there is your message on my screen! It can't be an accident. Thank you Lord Jesus! * When all else fails me, & people disappoint & vanish at the sight of problems, I know God will do whatever it takes to get me His message, even if it's me scrolling thru YT, & I hear Pastor Rick speaking. Thank you ! ✝ I need to go back & re~listen, I think there may be more notes I can take to apply to life right now📝✔👍

She has so much anger and resentment towrds me. Im a recovering alcoholic and suffer from severe depression due to my childhood. I never feel good enough and i cause pain to everyone i love. My wife means so much and pray for the lord to work in her. She is sick as well and blames me for everythjng wrong in her life even decisions she made. Its so hard to love someone. I reliezed i put so many things in front of God. Im working on rebuilding my relationship with him. I know that he loves me its just so hard to love myself. I stumbled across this wonderful Pastor while surfing the web for music, when I open up my heart to listen to the evangiistic message of this Pastor preaching the message of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am amazed and have a new daily spiritual outlook, this is very meaningful for me to understand the total and complete love of Jesus Christ and the reason for who we are, regardless of where we have been, and the direction we need to go. God bless this man and his messages. Pray for me, a sinner in many ways and believing that none of that matters to our loving Father, thank you for loving me.

Pastor Rick your message was awesome. I liked your cake analogy. I like how you explained Romans 8:28-29. The trapeze illustration about faith and letting go of the past. I liked how you explained the difference between knowledge and wisdom using Moses as an example. Yes, I am paying attention to God's Word, that's why I watch you on KZread. I like how you use a lot of scripture as you teach...that's really so cool. I want to be wise and mature. I like what you said, "Every situations is an education." It is comforting to know that God's love for me will never change, God's truth will never change, and God's plan and purpose for my life will never change...thanks for that. What you said about Kay and your son Matthew touched my heart. "I will trust You no matter what." Those are some powerful words. We love you Pastor Rick, thank you so much for encouraging me. My prayers are with you bro...

Cake !!! My hubby makes homemade cakes too. Yummy! His grandmother s recipes. Life all parts like a cake. All works for the good for people who love God! It’s true God’s view is atop not like our limiting view. Been helping seeing invisible things now. Im trying. My efforts are so mini get discouraged but I hope that I am sharing that love isn’t money or working being over busy. We need healthy views in this family. Yes! Loving joyful peaceful patient kindness goodness full of faith self control gentleness. Produced through experiences that are unlovely. Heavenly sandpaper. I am glad I jumped to patience And acceptance. I can get through this. 🤔 this is good change somehow. God is amazing!

Take care of yourself so you can keep leading souls toward God’s glory and love. God bless you and give you strength to gain the self control to take on the hardest battle in what many of us struggle with; taking care of the vessel in which our soul resides, our human body. In Jesus’s name I’ll be praying for you. I would hate lose you. You are a wonderful, insightful messenger of our Lord. 🙏 Prayers. I love you. Thank you so much for the messages that has lead me toward a closer walk with God.

God is not a all powerful being dishing out horrible things on people ! He didn't cause the Holocaust, Hitler and his followers did. He didn't cause a person to die early cancer did ! A hurricane is not a act of God it's a act of nature ! We need to understand most things in life happens due to many reasons, christians stop blaming God for bad things happening. As a famous Rabbi once said God is on the side of the victim not the murderer ! Lastly human beings are Gods language !

God is building our character and our trust in him. How Faithful we are or what we need to work on. And let go of. He needs to be our rock. Our firm foundation. We need to be spirit lead and not carnally lead. Because whats coming to the world is going to either make us stronger in christ or we fall because of our unbelief. He is equipping us for our own good. Fight the god fight of faith. He needs us to grow because he loved us. Firmness in christ is what we need. Because the day is coming where our faith will be tested and we need to stand firm and if we aren’t how can we stand we will fall like the sand. Lord help us. Fill us with your holy spirit. Do not let us be like the 5 virgins who had no oil and you came and they were left behind because they did not see the times and the seasons. They did not understand or were lazy thinking they had more time to slack. No, thats the flesh. Help us seek you above all else. Not with words we can all speak these words but with actions. Take the initiative. Accept the changes and grow better not bitter. Thank you Lord.

Thank-you for this sermon on this subject matter. I think this past year & a half has been such a struggle for so many and I hope your sermon here blesses all who hear your message, as well as you while you prepared and delivered this timely message. I hope it helps people turn towards God & Jesus, instead of the world's push for us to turn away from & get angry with God, others or even ourselves because of the struggle & situation. You are right saying the difference between better and bitter is I. I like that little nugget of wordplay. Such a huge insight. It really cuts to the heart of the matter. I have been sharing the better not bitter message for 15+ years now since a big change in my life made me see the light of this inner change and outlook on life, circumstancesand people. It is still a struggle for me though. This message is a reminder to check in with myself and ask God for help & forgiveness once again as it feels I still need to be aware of that bitter attitude and perspective creeping back in. I have compassion & empathy for all during this struggle...yet I realize one of my thoughts and reactions to others talking about the struggles during this change is bitterness... a thought of and urge to say a bitter sarcastic statement..."It's about time someone else got a hint of what has taken over & is crippling my life in so many ways every day." Just the tip of that cold iceberg of jealousy, resentment, and embarrassingly even envy towards a few whom I may feel are more deserving than I of struggle, sadness & pain... I really don't wish this upon others...maybe a hint upon those nasty 'bad' people who force it upon others...but something evil has already gripped them into behaving badly to hurt others...so I need to be careful it doesn't get a grip on me as well... This pandemic has some people getting an introduction to the feelings & situational difficulties I know too well and are not new to me nor based on the pandemic situation. Even though we experience this situation on a wordly level, it is a deeply personal struggle. Many often implode, isolate, and think they have a right to explode in anger or reactive behaviors, or lose faith and give up hope. It is difficult but necessary to stop the self pity, bitterness, judgements, blame, & negative rhetoric...turn towards not away from God & His goodness, using our newfound insights to learn further, grow, encourage others to draw closer to God, and have an empathetic outlook towards others and ourselves. Most of the time I think I am on this path, but I still am convicted with reminders to do better and not be bitter. Many who go through this will grow & improve to become and do better. Others will use it to restate their right & power they find in being bitter. Only some will see how they can use this struggle to walk with God and appreciate His using this to bring us closer to salvation, gaining insights to have grace and mercy towards ourselves and others.
