I'm not a stylist but I'm scissor happy and always end up cutting too much of my OWN hair. But ... It's ALWAYS worth it. 💯

I don’t understand why people just don’t get the trim done in one sitting. It cost more to go and get it done in two sittings.

The term scissor happy should not exist...unhealthy long dead ends are not fashionable. They are ugly. Cut the hair if it needs to be, and get your hair on a healthy regimen.

My new hairdresser was cutting my hair this way. Pulling it to.the side and cutting (bc I wanted to keep length) but I had like 5 inches of very split ended thin hair. The new hairdresser I went to said she was cutting my hair wrong which left "pockets" for thinner hair to come. She instead brought my hair straight up.in the air and cut it kinda blunt to cut the bad damaged hair off. What's the real deal? I'm confused.

do you have any tips for people who are losing hair? I had thick hair but now since I started the no poo method, I feel as though I lost a lot. I've come to the conclusion as to why I am losing hair, it's because I don't have enough oil in my roots anymore. Is there anyway to combat that? And when my oils do come back to how it was before, how long will it take for my hair to gain it's thickness back. I'm only 18 and I am losing hair, I just miss my thick hair

Ceycie Mateo I have the same issues! For me, I think the hairs probably Compromised from the split end all the way up the shaft towards the scalp. Once I cut the visible damage, days later there will be yet another split. I also blame the cheap scissors I was using. I don’t want to shave my hair off, obviously I’ll just have to live this way for a while. I am looking for some good scissors that are middle of the road so I can cut my own dead ends off at home. Have you found any scissors that work well for you?

Maybe you are not cutting the entire split end off. So even though it seems like you are trimming, the little bit that you leave keeps splitting.

Thin spots, uneven hair, does not mean damaged hair. Scissor happy is what stylists are. They talk about split ends, but they NEVER show them to you, and I can't seem to ever find any.. Just because ends are frizzy, or are "see through" does not Eemian they need to be cut, because the hair is in the process of growing and at times, will be uneven. Not all strands grow at the exact Same length. This is why the hair stays the exact same length, year and year, after year.

  • @CrystalM1917

I have to agree. And additionally, when you are cutting down through the hair...how can you expect the hemline to ever be truly even? If you want your hair to ever go past neck/ shoulder, you fant keep it completely even month after month. Imo you have to let it grow out some, baby your ends wait longer to trim and then do a trim just to n get it past this typical length.

I wish I found a stylist that was scissor happy because I hate going to the salon & paying for a TRIM! I want all dead ends cut & leave with a dusting with damage needs still there. Then they go on to talk about how I will still have my length & they don’t want to cut too much. No you don’t want to do too much work. Just cut the dead ends off. That’s why I’ve decided to watch a bunch of videos & learn how to do it myself.

Just because your hair is thin at the bottom does not mean it's unhealthy. You hair naturally grows thinner at the ends. A straight edge is VERY unnatural. These hair stylists need to stop it. My hair grows greatly when I stop going to the salon. I'm done with hair stylists.

*What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

Would you want the stylist to cut your hair all at once? Especially if you’re a girl 😂hell no!

She needs wayyyyy more taken off!!! I had a stylist pretty much barely cut my ends & it did more harm than good!! You are not even cutting all of the damaged hair!!
