I prefer the round style, it's more natural and "more relaxing" to watch as it completes the face rather than wanting to be the "protagonist" as the squared style.

When I finally said "what the hell, I can do this" I hit my mark. I just put faith in my skill that I've been practicing and I lined up back/ear and neck line just right. If you watch this guy you can see the confidence in his trimming strokes. He sees what he wants and he does it, he trusts his eyes and ability. I personally like the round beard.

I'm only 57 days into my yeard and am pleasantly surprised how much hair grows on my face when I actually quit trimming it and let it grow naturally. Letting it grow is one of the best things I've ever done. My face even feels healthier and I'll never go back to being clean shaven ever again.

Super easy. Use clippers with a fairly long guard and go DOWN and OUTWARD in almost a scooping motion starting at the top of your sideburns. As long as you make down and outward strokes you won't take off too much density further down the sides of your beard. NEVER TRIM UPWARDS WITH YOUR CLIPPERS..ALWAYS DOWNWARDS. Hope this helps. All you're doing is basically trimming down what is naturally your sideburns and leaving the hair where your beard itself starts.

I do not have the proper equipment or funds to do my beard and hair. I asked for a certain clipper and trimmer (inexpensive ) for Christmas. And god bless they spent all there money on one that looked cool but it doesn’t have a lever to do half sizes and I don’t have a trimmer. Oh also my right cheek is a little patchy which I hate. But I’ve had to sleep on that side of my face half my life due to a health issue so that doesn’t help much either. But thanks for all the content, I’ve had beard oil a couple times in my life and loved it. I have a stringy somewhat of a curly beard so thd balms etc. help straighten it out a lot. But I’m in between jobs. Broke and trying to do this on what I got. So thanks for your videos player. One!

That first straight line you can see a big difference already, way better and more masculine when the beard is straight with sharp lines

The square look give more structure and definition to your face and give the illusion of a structured jawline and the appearance of "the guy you can't mess with " The round trim looks cool too , not a bad idea to try it once in a while , round trim give you the chubby appearance but it looks more natural and relaxed Nice videos , keep it up 💪🏾💪🏾

How often do you suggest trimming your beard to keep the finished look in your video. In specifics, I would be wanting to wear my beard in the square or sharped edges style. Initially, I will be going to a barber to create the initial look to get me started. Not sure I trust myself to try doing it myself. ha ha

Beard trims on point 👌 I prefer the more square look, I definitely like bringing in the sides when it gets crazy and keeping the bulk in the bottom, such a clean look while keeping the beard thick. What detailer do you use for lining up? I want to start lining up my mustache myself, I like just hitting the bottom side of the mustache and having a fine line over the lip. Do you recommend any?

The square look is a more intentional look, like you putting work into it. A rounder beard looks more natural. Just my opinion, both styles are dope af. Dudes should rock the shape of beard they want.

My issue is trying to figure out HOW my beard hair grows, sometimes it looks like I can brush in down motion then other times I could brush in across motion therefore throwing off HOW to cut it correctly

Maybe your cutting it before it reaches it's maximum fullness? You can never trim your way to a more full beard, just gta let it grow. I don't even trim the long flyaways on mine. As they gain length they eventually lay down and fold into the other hairs.

Yes it will. Also use beard oil and/or butter if youre not. Makes it way easier and keeps the beard healthy

Personally I would say no. A square beard will make it look more wide and full imo. I would say if you wanted to elongate your face a bit, a more tapered, rounded beard with some length would do the trick. Just my personal opinion for what it's worth. Rock whatever beard you want man...That's the beauty of it!

If you have a chiseled face go with a squared beard if you have a chubby face go with a round beard

Neither is better, they both have different purposes. The square beard is for the club. The round beard is for the office.

A square beard is going to look more intentional, a round beard is going to look more natural. Just depends what look you want to rock. Do with your beard what you want. They are all different and unique, almost like fingerprints. They give you individual character. Nobodies beard is exactly like your own :)
