Hi ,nice guide. I wanna ask, some guides i read online say needed to prepare international drivers licence, does any of the checkpoints check drivers licence? Btw I'm sabahan with malaysian drivers licence

You should've just driven across the Brunei's longest Bridge to avoid a 2-hr journey from Pandaruan post to Tedungan including the long queue, except if you really wanna stay overnight. 'Cause ultimately you could've easily reached Miri in 2 hours from the starting point of the bridge, crossing the capital, to the hiway of Tutong and Belait up to Sg Tujoh. So that makes 7 posts only, instead of 9.

Yes indeed. This video was uploaded before new Temburong Bridge is opened for road user. Now we can shorten the 2 hour journey by-passing Limbang . Thank you for your kind info.

1. The "fire" that you saw is SOGT ( Sabah oil & gas terminal ) 2. I think its not Lawas bridge, that erea is called Pengalih Nice video. Now Dec 2022, border will be closed at 10 pm

Actually ..after the Sindumin - Lawas Immigration post, turn right at the roundabout and take the Ferry will be faster to arrive Lawas town. But need to pay RM1.00/car.

Aside from EES fee, are there any other costs incurred during the road trip? My team and I are going to Miri on August, so we need to prepare everything that we need before starting our journey to Miri..

Hi Elaine, you only have to pay EES Fee. As of 23rd August 2023, Temburong bridge is opened for road user since Septemeber 2022. ( No fees needed) Thus, you don't have to pass through Limbang anymore.

Hi Then, for transit through Brunei to Sarawak/Sabah, you don't have to purchase insurance. Meaning you must enter and exit Brunei on the same day

Did you apply 1 pass for 1 vehicle (2 persons) or 2 pass for 2 persons (inside 1 car)? I appled the travelling pass for my car and the driver name is me. Do I have to apply one for my wife as well? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jacky. 1.Yes, you only have to apply 1 pass. 2. No, you don't have to apple another pass for your wife as the pass is per vehicle basis. However, if your wife will be driving in Brunei, you need to add on your wife's details under driver's section when submitting the application. Quoting from Brunei Customs for EES Rates, "From 12 December 2022 onwards: charge rate per vehicle per one-way trip, according to the following rates: Motorcycle: FREE (Exempted) BND 3.00 for vehicles with a load of no more than 7 people including the driver; BND 6.00 for vehicles with a load of more than 7 up to 25 people including the driver, such as vans or minibuses; BND 10.00 for vehicles with a load of more than 25 people including the driver, such as buses." Hi Ahmad Rizal, when you login to EES, at Section 2 you can choose Control Post for Exit/Entry, there you can select 4 borders. When you pass through the borders, you just need to show that QR code to them. 2. Once apply, paid, then you immediately get the QR code already. Best to prepare your documents 1 day before cross border Hope I answered your questions! :)

Hi Ericson, yes, this is applicable to all types of vehicles or as pedestrians."The charge will be applied to every nationalities, including Brunei citizens, passing through all land control posts either by using vehicle or as pedestrians."
