Found this whole video really useful and informative, but I wanted to hear other peoples opinion as to whether they think booking the hostel on the day you arrive in a certain place is a good idea, as I was under the impression that booking earlier is often cheaper and safer?

nowadays, you don't need to book flights as you can take trains to london and then reserve a eurostar (€30 each way) to paris or brussels on the first travel day and vice versa for the final travel day

Thanks for the video! Loved the other Interrail video you made and I was a little sad that there wasn't a second one 😅. I'm going on an Interrail trip in June (on my own). I decided to plan my first 3 stays ahead of time and I'll do the rest once I'm there. Kind of worried that I will end up in a dorm with 11 other people though (since I'm travelling alone and sleeping in one room with five strangers seems enough, lol). But we'll see how it goes! ☺

Hey man! you can, but only twice, once for leaving and once for re-entry. Me and my friends wanted to travel as much as possible, so rather than Interrail out of the UK and then have to do a smaller trip to loop back, or spend less time in places, we flew down to Croatia, and worked our way back through Europe, which allowed us to be a little more relaxed! Hope this helped! (:

Flew from London to Croatia, then Started the pass in Croatia - Vienna - Prague - Berlin - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris then flew from Paris back to the UK! (:

couldnt you of saved money by not booking any flights and using the interail pass to get from st Pancras into Paris and go from there?

you can't use an interrail pass in your own country

Nice video. Only issue: do not always look for the cheapest in life or travel. Airlines like Ryanair do a lot of damage and invite a careless travel mindset. If you travel, learn about the impact and if you love this planet, try to take care of it

I disagree with the whole 'cook your own food' Probably the best reason to travel is to eat food from other places
