1. -large spread because of brokers protecting themselves from exposure?? -Slippage is another word for a bugg where you get filled much later and therefore have a not intended entry -you simply dont get filled at all 2. -Institution need months to accumulate and close their huge positions because for every buyer needs to be a seller and for every seller needs to be a buyer -market moves usually in the opposite way just before the news hit which gives hedgies better & higher/lower entries (backtesting this on eurousd I think 15mins works best for me) 3. -1:3 risk reward because you only need to win 30% of the trades to still be in profit 4. -backtesting

You where saying, the traditonal way is not a good idea to trade news because of high risk due to slippage. But how is it less risky to position yourself before the event as you are proposing instead like institutional traders? When the news hit and you are on the wrong side, your StopLoss execution will also degrade which will wreck all risk/reward calculations

I use FBS ..CAN I TRUST THEM ???
