How to time an engine, 2 or 4 stroke using CH Ignitions and Rcxel hardware.
We can set-up any engine and configuration, V, Radial 3,5,7,9 Cylinders, Inline, Boxer.
We will need to have the engines to be able to fabricate the necessary hardware.
Some engines may not convert well from Glow to Gasoline.

Adrian is great to work with. I had a question about timing my Saito twin and he got immediately back to me and helped me set up my timing. If I had known about this video I wouldn’t have had to bother him at all!

Timing depends if you want all out power at full revs or lower power but a smoother lower idle and smoother acceleration and transition.

Adrian, do you have another tool that screws through the spark plug hole for Stinger engines distributed by RCFG-USA? The spark plug entry to these engines are "angled". Thanks.
I cannot understand why people find it difficult to set the ignition timing on single or multi cylinder engines. It is easier than setting the cam timing on a four stroke.
Will this fit the older case with the taller cam box?
Would it be fair to say the hardware is the same and all need to be done is this to match to any engine?
When you set the pointer on 30 did you placed the piston on the top(higher)position?
Hi, I just got hold of a Saito 150 black knight with your Petrol conversion, and Zamac carburetor, can you tell me the number of turns of the H and Low screws please ?

Looked on the website, is there a way to order just this piston stop? I don't need the other stuff and can't justify paying $43 shipped just to get the stop. I found a few cheap stops on ebay but they aren't as nice as this one.

Hi Adrain, just now trying to time my Saito 180 G.K. and over to gas from the kit I bought from you after two years :=} .when setting the degree's I am getting 32 degree's after turning it clockwise.Is that normal ?? T.Y. Joe H.

you have to get the same number on both sides CCW and CW. If you get more on one side then split the diff in 2.

Adrian, I'm in china and have built a 2 stroke twin using fusion 360 software, the motor is done its uneven fire one piston is up one is down, I brought a twin spark unit from rcexl but I know its wrong as its sparks both plugs at the same time, it suppose to be 90 degrees uneven but its cant be, I asked for a four-wire pick up they sent me a three then told me they do have it and for me to pay the return and resend. my question is this should I be using a duel magnet north-south set up on this engine so that the sparks are are not firing at the same time? no one over here can answer or help me, yet they are selling the goods. love your videos and the dog's input. thanks Trev

If 180° timing, my guess would be to use the twin, waisted spark system you already have, use two magnets so it will fire both plugs at the correct timing. Second way I'd do it, would be use two single systems, single magnet, and place the pick up sensers 180° apart from each other.. just my thoughts on it. The uneven firing system needs two magnets, a north for cylinder one, and a South for cylinder two

Eu le fac, lubricarea este la fel ca la motoare saito FG20/21/36...20:1 ulei sintetic.

Why not just center the engine Todd did center put your zero on your crankshaft degree wheel and then turning 30 and you’re done
