I started a maid service 20 years ago and I have always impressed my clients with what I do with their towels. I've done all of these. Another little thing I always do is I fold the toilet paper end so it has a point like you see when you go to a hotel. In ny experience, if you take a little extra time in doing this, your clients will feel that you obviously care about their home and they will love you! Ive never lost a client.

LOVE this pre-80's attention to detail. I was a SAHM and I enjoyed doing these classy extras. So, glad you shared. I am going to decorate my mom's bathroom.

My husband is bed-bound, so doing simple things that show I still love him is imperative. I saw this, and it just happens that I am in the middle of washing his clothes (in the middle of the night -- it's 2:18 a.m.!). When the towels are dry, I'm going to use the second idea you had (where you folded in and accordian-folded the washcloth). Having the washcloth and towel together will be easier for him, and will show that I put in that extra effort. Thank you, very much, for this.

I just discovered this and it motivated me to use the second technique in our B&B. It takes no longer than what we do now and is ten times more impressive. I doubt you’ll ever see this but thank you so much for your ideas and great explanation

I remember checking into a hotel many years ago where they had taken one bath towel, one hand towel and one face cloth and formed a swan out of them that was sitting in the middle of the bed. Most impressive.

Yes, I believe it was Radisson Hotels that would do that, as well as some resort hotels in Florida that would do the clam shell fold with toiletries in it. Very nice touch indeed!

A homemaker is the economist and administrator of the home life. The skills she demonstrated were minimised and downgraded by society and even ridiculed by women themselves. I love seeing how something like these towels become a functioning thoughtful and charming accessory supporting order in a messy room. The pandemic has i think given women a reminder of what has being lost and i see a revival of homecare with attention to detail and love of cooking, eating what you grow from seed and how to live more simply and lead more authentic cultured lives will inspire more women to give these tasks more value to themselves and not the exhausted mothers and wives we observed trying to juggle 2 jobs with child care sourced out all to support globalism.

I use to be a maid at an Atlanta hotel many many many years ago I may have been in my 20's. I said that to say this the way you folded your face clothe and hand clothe I use to fold then that way where I was working but your towels I do like and will fold them like that at the house. Thanks for showing us how to fix the towels job well done. Jesus love you and so do I and let us always be honest about what we say and do, because God is watching me and you.

I love the folded pockets techniques and the practicality behind it. Your ideas are genius and beautiful. I think it is brilliant especially to use when packing for a vacation. My bf never uses hotel towels and brings his own, so next time I will help pack his bathroom toiletries into the towel pockets. Can't wait for him to be surprised to find a zip loc bag of his toothbrush, toothpaste, altogether with his bath towel.

A very lovely video, great demos. One time I folded my towels so nice (accordion style like you did) and they were reluctant to use them because they thought the towels were only for show, ha ha. I said "heavens no, please use them". I hate tags showing on things, so I cut them off my towels, washcloths.

All of you went way too far with the comments.These are 8-9 year old girls waiting to be adopted....living in an orphanage. Sure,girls can be taught to reach for higher education (whatever the field) BUT THE FIRST THING EVERY GIRL should learn is how to be clean and clean up after herself. No maid OR man should have to deal with lazy females. My comment was to compliment the video maker, not bunch of insensitive witches! Get a life!!
