How To Tie The EP Roosterfish Mullet Fly
In this video, Donnie Price of El Gallo Fly Fishing Lodge shows how to tie the EP Roosterfish Mullet Fly. This is a great fly for targeting roosterfish and other inshore saltwater fish, particularly around the La Paz, or Muertos Bay, (Bahia de los Suenos) area of the East Cape, or the Sea of Cortez side of Baja California Sur, Mexico. If you are fly fishing for roosterfish from the beach in Baja, you need to have some of these in your box, it might be the best roosterfish fly known!

I use EP fiber it's great makes light realistic looking fly's . Be sure to put on good eyes

E.P. Makes a gang of great materials. The eyes that I put on this one are 8mm dome. I find that if you use shoe-goo, and gorilla clear over the thread, and drip it over it, the eyes never come off. Thanks for the comment!
Long tie but well worth watching. This fly would tear up muskie and pike fishing in Lake Sinclair

8mm on this one. Depends on the size of the fly, and what you are mimicking. Be creative, and find what works for you. Most importantly of all, have fun with the process!
