    thank you! I always get a skin reaction to metal chains (it's not a nickle allergy, it could be 24k gold and it will still happen) so I'm working on moving my necklace collection to ribbon and cords which do not irritate my skin.     Aw thanks! Hmm, I haven't tried but I don't think it would work well. The reason this knot works with suede is because suede cord is so grippy. I think any smooth/slippy cord would come undone quite easily.

    It just hangs there...the cord is stiff enough that it stays lined up with the bracelet or necklace so it still looks tidy :)

    Sorry for the late reply...I think you would need roughly 30 cm more cord than you want the finished necklace to be. You can always cut off excess at the end. It does kind of depend though how adjustable you want your necklace to be :)

    I would advise trying it with 26"+ of cord and see how it goes :)
