Best drop shot knot imo!! Feel like i dont get nearly as much line twist as i use to with the palomar knot maybe its the bait but this is much easier to tie and ive never broken off with this knot

Nice & easy !

That is what we call a dropper loop knot. Used alot for fishing Yellowtail and Grouper on deep structure. Its very strong.

Thats a drop shot knot...it rides on the main line...a dropper loop actually has a loop.

​@@coffeedollsvpActually, he's right this is just a modified dropper loop knot the only difference is he didn't pull the loop all the way through and he had a hook on it instead of a bare line.

Does this work I make a 3 to 5 inch leader on the same line kit pinch twist hook Palomar and twit to make a line and loop pull and tie a weight on the bottom of the line I wanna switch to Carolina rig but classic is drop shot
