None of the so called 'guru's' go to this level of detail. This is pure gold for the learner. Well done and thanks 👏

y'all gonna laugh, but where I live in Gringo land, I can't find any of the gear you use. They used to sell the winders(spools) years ago, but I haven't seen one for a long time. So, I use a 20 ft. fiberglass extension cane pole, with about(just a little longer) the same length of 6 lb. test line and a #10 gold hook. I used to have an British type float(the only one in the store), which I used for years. After it expired, I used drinking straws, which I pinch shut w. a needle nose pliers and seal w. a lighter. I tie it to the line w. a rubber band....and finally 3 split shots, two up the line and one a index finger's length from the hook...works like a charm....u just have to learn to read the float....;)

Very good Lee this has helped me get a routine to work to, instead of everyone different !! What would be really useful is a session on what sizes floats for different depths / conditions as when out looking at the myriad of floats I find it all a bit of a minefield... cheers Tony

Great informative video really helps me to try and set some discipline and uniformity into my rig making, interesting to note you tie your hook length on the rig, great system, i would normal have all my hooks tied on which means i have to carry a vast assortment, Keep them coming Lee and tight lines.

Hi Lee, good to see you're embracing video production to help many others accomplish what some of us are already aware of. One helpful point might be to grab another camera and set it up above your bench to cover close up shots, as you're on your own when you do these vids. Did notice that someone else did comment on that point. Will improve your instructionals no end. One funny point I noticed...did you really mean to say you need to get your tool out! (LOL).
