This is still the best vdeo I could find on how to tie a longyi. Other people complaining that there's a white guy. Sure, but this is still the only video on the internet that I can find with the western alphabet. Also the video is just full of love and appreciation, don't know why anyone would hate

Our tour leader showed us how to tie longyi and it is more than just one twist. When done properly, your longyi will not fall down. He never used the word “diaper” to describe the shortened version for swimming etc, but then again, he was Burmese, not American. Hats off though to the young man in the video. I enjoyed watching.

Yes, it is! Language used by native people is the natural one! We are working for Language Project now. We realize this while working for our new Video Book series, "Hidden Treasures of the Himalayas." Thank you So much!

I have a kikoi (African wrap) and a longyi. After wearing them around the house in the African heat, I'm beginning to think this whole trouser thing was invented by people who hate men.

Hello guys! I've asked on another video, but maybe I need to post the question on this recent video!! Just curious if I can get away not bringing a Solar Battery Charger along the Annapurna trekking. And just using whatever is available at the lodges, can I get away with that? Thanks again ! Any info is appreciated!
