Good video I can see the laces move and not your hand blocking 👍 Also as a young catcher I get my thumb jammed a lot and me tightening the laces help my thumb move out of the pocket making it not jam no more

Wow I can’t believe I dealt with laces constantly coming undone for so long What a lazy pile I am sometimes

The knot is so simple yet the most frustrating becuase i never get it right almost giving myself an aneurysm and try 10 times but still have to pull up this video

Who noticed that he just did a reef knot

This is exactly how rawlings does it from the factory for your thumb and pinky too. notice in the first overhand knot how he twists the one lace so both the rough sides are up. I just loosened my thumb and pinky on my GG Elite 11.5 and almost had a stroke trying to re-tie. thank you for this video you save me alot of frustration.

I do it the same, but every baseball glove I have bought, when the knot is done, both sides of the knot laces have the smooth side up. Yours has one rough side up...before pulling it all tight, I twist that lace so the smooth side is up also.
