At last I was able to solve my P0016 code. Firstly, I flushed my engine oil with an engine flushed them changed the oil a second time -- code didn't go away. Next, I changed my crankshaft position sensor--- no improvement, Checked my VVT solonoeid too and it was working fine. Finally I went to the mechanic to check my timing chain and Alas, it had jumped. It was fixed and now my car is driving smoothly again. Thanks for this video. It has really helped me. I was already thinking of selling the car off. (It's an Hyundai accent 2012)

Thanks for your video.could please tell me what would be the voltage incoming to the sensor.When I check my sensor adapter code itself I can see one side 4.8 and the other side only 5 volt when I tested with voltmeter.My car is Hyundai Elantra 2018 Korien made.From your video I understand batery side should be 12 volt.

I have a Hyundai Tucson V6 2006 the engine start but when I accelerate it stalls. I tested the camshaft position sensor as illustrated it read 4.88 on the socket but when I connect the camshaft position sensor the reading goes down to 0.76 before I place any metal on the sensor. Is the sensor bad?

Mine stays on .01 until I bring the wrench back to it and sometimes it doesn't change from 4.8 my car died while driving and won't crank over but has full power 12.6 on the battery power going to the starter. And signal just won't engage

Kiedy był zimny wszystko było ok. Kiedy się zagrzał zaczynał wariować. Wyjąłem z gorącego silnika czujnik wsadziłem do lodówki na kilka minut i zamontowałem do gorącego silnika.... wszystko było ok.

I have a 2019.hyundai.elantra that will start but not go forward or backwards. The check engine light came on. Autozone said camshaft sensor. The rpms would drop to 0 while driving. Now its starts goes into gear, just wont mive. Brakes aren't the problem

I have santa fe 2021 and the vehicle drives well but at times stalls at red light and i havr to tirn it on again and when driver longer than usual the rpm goes to ZERO .I don’t drive on the highway because when i speed up to 40 or 50 it statts hesitation or losing power .Light engine comes om and off . few days ago It was diagnises to have bad cranshaft position sensor .Another mechanic told me its transmission ! ADVICE PLEASE

My car is Sonata 2009, American import, engine 24. It has a malfunction. When the rpm reaches 1500 revolutions, the engine shakes, whether it is moving or standing, and results in a weak engine torque.. I went to the technician more than once and he connected it to a fault detector, but to no avail without any result. .. so what is the solution?

I have exactly same problem. My Elantra shakes only at 1500 rpm with no code. Do you resolved it?

I have 2017 elanta 2.0 l the car running fine until when I slow it down everything is shutting off, all the warning light are blinking, I try to start again, but nothing happens until I wait for couple minutes and try to start again, it start and run fine. do you have any idea what wrong with this problem? it happened almost everyday now.

Sounds like a fuel pump overheating.
