By the way, if you're new to pokemon card collecting, you can tell if a card is a secret rare by looking at the numbers on the card. For example, I have a regular card, and a secret rare card with me. The regular card is number 10/236, and the secret rare is number 238/236. What I'm saying is if the number goes over the amount of cards in the set, it's a secret rare. Hope this helps!

@@frankcarnival9428 it’s basically saying, even if it’s a really good card, that’s the amount of that specific card. Above the limit kind of means it’s rarer than the other available cards. Does this make sense?

Thank you sir! I legit grew up with the OG Pokémon cards and I was one of the kids that had no interest in the hobby. My gosh how I missed out. Now that I’m grown up with my own money to spend I will be having fun investing in some cards and buying them to open them with my kids. Gotta catch ‘em all!

More easier explanation: If card is golden or rainbow [full arts don't count or holos] then more value In the bottom left you have a some numbers if the left number is bigger than the right number it may be considered as a secret-rade this could happen on any card! Is your card First Edition? If you say maybe then here's some tips: Prerelease are the worst version and then there's fossil cards what are middle class then there's first Edition and then Japanese first Edition what is best Protect your cards here's why:if your card is in excellent or mint condition or if you want your cards to be then you can use sleeves,pokemon books and glass sleeves what is the best type of protection and if you open you pokemon packets and put them in your pokemon book just remember to put a sleeve or a glass sleeve right after you pulled a good card because if your card has:At the back the pokeball is in center,good corners and good condition overall it will be more valuable (and remember to never bend your cards!) Last tip:if your cards is old or from a old packet then it might be more rare Unidentified Good cards:some cards like blisey or chansey regular are still quite rare!

When I was in elementary school I had alot of pokemon card but I thought that thay were worth nothing and two of them were a rare Charizard and mew so I gave them to my cousin since he like them alot and when I found out how much they were worth I begged him to give them back to me so he did and when I saw them I was them I was about to cry tears of saddens because they where in awful condition. I mean some were ripped, some had like coffee stains on them some were missing and most importantly the Charizard hade scratches on it the some corners missing had a little tear on it. It was devastating so I let him have it. couple months passed and he said he lost it. Giving him my cards was the think I regret the most, but at least the mew is in okay state I guess.

This does help actually I didn’t know that 😂
