Right my cat could never.

Unfortunately, my beloved male cat passed on in terrible pain in my arms on the 28th of june. He had been operated on just two month before he die. It has been agony taking him to the vet and seeing him sick. Needless to say how painful it has been for me… now he’s gone and I am in despair. I am a senior alone and he has been my everything for 14 years. Wish i had come open your video long time ago. Head I’ve been instructed I would have done anything and everything to save his life long ago. Thank you. I hope your video will help others.

Must be one of those acting cats- he pretended to go to the pooper, he pretended to drink water. He’s so talented.

My cat, Gracie had UTI's 3 times within 1 year. We changed her diet to WET FOOD ONLY: (Weruva brand-Grandma's chicken soup) which we add extra water to make more broth. She now is free from UTI's and is feeling better and acting more playful. Dry food is VERY DEHYDRATING for cats. Dry food is for the convenience of humans. Cats in the wild do not eat dry food; DO NOT feed dry food to your cat!!

hello! my cat has uti 3 times already in just less than 2 months. its on and off. i give him medicine and he will be okay, only after a week without medicine and it comes back again. what is the brand of wet food do you give your cat? thanks!

Paws Not Claws that’s how my cat is. He hasn’t drank water from his bowl in 5 years. But wet food with water added seems to keep him hydrated.

Dry food isn't the cause of UTIs. Yes, it's convenient for us to feed them dry food, but there's plenty of cats that get UTIs that only eat wet food.

My cat has this he beat it without antibiotics I'm so thankful and blessed my cat is healthy and well 💜

@@rrijecanka sometimes crystals can pass, but usually they need medication to relax themselves. For my cat his was serious, he almost died. The vet said he needs a catheter or they will put him down. We came up with the option to bring him to the vet in town the next day so I didn’t have to put him down. We had him on gabapentin and prazosin all night and when we got to the vet they were about to do a catheter and my lil baby went into his carrier and did a tiny pee!! My vet looked at me and smiled and said “well he just saved you $3,000! He’s gonna be okay” and I have never been more proud of him in my life. He’s stayed on prescription food and hasn’t had the problem since!!

Thank god you beat it my cat has had 2 antibiotic shots for it and he's still not all the way back good he still has blood in his urine we are going back to the vet tomorrow tho and hopefully the cure him this time.

I feel horrible. One of my poor cats has been peeing on my bed. 3 times in last 3 months. I though it was behavioral. Please send her positive prayers. I'm taking her to the vet TODAY.🙏

Prayers.how did it go? Was it serious? My cats been having a similar problem, xcept he pees on bags but does still use the litter box too, I thought it was behavioral too but when i found out it could be a urinary problem I started keeping a closer eye on him, he's not exibitting any other symptoms, he's still very playful, even chasing his laser halfway up the wall lol.hes got an appointment on Monday just in case.i lost my other baby in 2018, so I freak out about just about everything when it comes to kovu even though I got his blood work done in October & it showed that he's perfectly healthy.i hope this isn't a UTI or anything other than him being a regular Territorial male cat (he's not fixed yet btw)

Rub Organic raw unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with "the Mother" on their fur (cat's sides) or the top of their paws. They will lick it off. Use two tablespoons a day for a few days rubbing it on each side of their fur or paws until you see them have relief. Remember to shake the bottle first. Organic apple cider vinegar will start to go into immediate action for the cat to get relief from the blockage. Also, it helps get rid of UTI bacteria;Walmart sells it. Additionally "Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth" gets rid of UTI's over time sold on Amazon. Completely safe for cats with no limitations of consumption and has no salt in it. Just be careful not to breath it in by getting it dusted up in the air. Make sure to only use "Food Grade."Use at least about 1/4 teaspoon per small can wet catfood. One other thing I heard helps as an added precaution is using pine kitty litter from example PetCo. Clay can block their urinary tracks. Keep in mind that it is important to ensure cats, when feeling normal, get enough water to keep their system flowing. Try putting some added bit of water in their wet food. My cat passed away 5 years ago from urinary blockage. It's serious. I waited to late and I didn't know the signs at the time :( unfortunately I took snowball to the vet to late.... he had stones and was in pain, so I had to put him down. I loved him so much. He was such a good cat. So please.... get your cat to the vet if they have a uti. I have 3 beautiful babies.... 2 males.. one female... and I make sure im noticing the signs... and I have and saved my other baby SHERBERT'S life😁😁 Another thing I recommend is only giving your babies wet food. Dry food causes uti because of the chemicals used in dry food. Since only using wet food.... my two boy cats AND girl cat does not expierence Uti's. 😍

I had noticed the signs in my cat and immediately took him to the vet. They can pass away from a blockage within 2-3 days if not treated! So it’s very serious. Vet told us my cat would of died within a few hours had we not took him when we did. He is now on a special urinary prescription dry food for life. BUT NOW, my other male cat is having the same issues. Took him to the vet immediately and they did X-rays and tests… no bladder stones, no blockage, and no crystals. Thank god! But did find a small amount of blood in his urine. He was on 14 days of antibiotics but symptoms continued (only peeing a tiny bit and straining, also trying to go outside the litter box). They gave him another 14 day script… 6 pills left with no changes. Ugh what to do!!!! 😔

I’m so sorry to hear. R.I.P. Snowball! Just found out my cat has a UTI and took him to the vet this morning. He’s staying there over night getting treated with antibiotics and other medicines. I pray that “Puka” will be alright.

Very true! My cat passed from the same issue. We didn't know until it was already too late. Please take the cat asap when these signs show. Earlier could reduce kidney failure if urine backs up too long.

One thing they don't mention is to look for personality changes, cats with a bladder infection can also become a bit crabby and may not want to cuddle if they normally are cuddly. another thing is going in and out of the box repetitively. Kind of like when people have a bladder infection and want to be near the toilet.

If it happens again do this: Rub Organic raw unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with "the Mother" on their fur (cat's sides) or the top of their paws. They will lick it off. Use at least two tablespoons in a day or if necessary a few days in an emergency for cats. For very young cats reduce that amount to one tablespoon. For kittens use only a teaspoon. Rub the organic apple cider vinegar on each side of their fur or the top of their paws until you see them have relief. Remember to shake the bottle first. If you have a wild cat that doesn’t take orders, then douse him with a good bit in a small glass. A lot will bead of his fur. Also, they will not be able to lick off the entirety of it all at once. Organic apple cider vinegar will start to go into immediate action for the cat to get relief from the blockage. It saved my cat that was pissing blood and then could not pee while squatting all the time. Also, it helps get rid of UTI bacteria; Walmart sells it. Ideally, it is best to use organic apple cider vinegar because it tastes rather good and is much more tolerable for the cat to ingest it compared to the filtered kind which tastes horrible. Remember only to use the organic apple cider vinegar as necessary. Too much too often could lead to an ulcer. From my experience a couple tablespoons a week has not hurt my cat. If it is a real emergency you could go beyond that just do not let it come to a habit of more than that each week. Keep in mind; you will likely have reoccurring bouts with this for a while. That is why I recommend some other preventative measures as you read on below: Keep in mind that it is important to ensure cats, when feeling normal, get enough water to keep their system flowing. Ensure they eat wet cat food over dry for the moisture content, Consider temporarily stopping the cat from eating dry food or even permanently if necessary. Too much dry food leads to blockages with lack of hydration compared to canned cat food. Try putting some added bit of water in their wet food. Avoid salty meats if they are having this problem. Salty meats or salty canned food meats like tuna will stop up your cat for sure! If you use clay litter make sure you use the unscented. Scented can irritate their pee track with synthetic chemicals leading to inflammation and UTI blockages. Never use clumping litter for cats; it can lead to blockages because cats can ingest it much easier. That can cause ingestion of sludge and bacteria leading to inflammation and UTI’s. Clumping litter is known to be extremely dangerous for kittens and not good for cats in general. Buy only fragrant free non-clumping litter, and then add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda mixed in per 10 pounds of cat litter that you use. It will naturally neutralize the smell; Just do not go beyond that because baking soda is really high in salt which is dangerous for cats if they ingest it more than a tiny amount by licking their paws each time using the litter box. I have used it for my cat and it works well, he actually prefers this litter combination. Baking soda is known to help aid and help get rid of UTI’s. Never give it to your cat other than in the litter! Additionally, use feline pine litter and add it to your litter with several handfuls to add a nice fragrant smell. A little goes a long way to just supplement the litter. Also, consider buying "cranimals" from amazon. It is a cranberry extract that helps the kidneys and gets rid of UTI problems. Put 1/4 teaspoon in two small cans of wet cat food or equivalent to that with one big can. You can also wash out an old salt and peppershaker to sprinkle a decent amount in their food. Any amount more than that I have noticed they will not eat it. Putting cranimals cranberry powder in their food will help keep their pee acidic to break down crystals. Additionally, "Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth" helps assist in UTI treatment sold on Amazon. It is a "diuretic" thus helps people and animals urinate 30% more to empty the bladder to keep crystals from forming. Completely safe for cats with no limitations of consumption and has no salt in it. Cats tolerate it because it has almost no taste. Just be careful not to breathe it in by getting it dusted up in the air because it is dangerous to breathe it in. Make sure to only use "Food Grade."Use at least about 1/4 teaspoon per small can wet cat food. Lastly, I have learned of a brand called "tinkle tonic" from chewy or amazon that some claim helped their cats. Finally, consider your cat’s stress level. Stress could be another factor that can lead to inflammation of the bladder area. Try to ensure he has enough to do to keep happy. This is the BEST VIDEO on helping my cat release his urine when I've already been to 2-different vets. 1st vet removed the urine by hand and gave antibiotics and the 2- one only gave pain med injection. Thank you very much Doctors. My kitty Veda just recently ha to be rushed to an emergency hospital overnight because he was crying in pain and not walking. Come to find out he had crystals in his bladder and were blocking him up from peeing. I have him on special wet food now only, that dissolves those crystals and prevents them from forming. But I'm always worrying about him, and knowing how to check to see if his bladder is ok now, is such a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you again. :)

DemonicOtaku help I took my cat a day ago to get him unblocked. the vet quoted me $2900 the highest and the lowest is at 1900. I told her I can make payments no problem what do I need to start she said 1500. of course I don't have that kind of money floating around in cash or on a card. finally two hours later she quoted me low $400 High 500 and I'll be taking the cat home at night. they told me they'd call me to come back and get him. She called 20 minutes after I left and she said the crystals were just right up front of the penis they flushed it out and I can come pick him up and take him home. They gave me some small canned cat food for a special diet this is now day 2 at 5 in the morning he woke up and went to the litter box it was moisten by urine, but after he left the Box he was walking around leave little puddles everywhere and the smells of the urine smells like he's was spraying. My cat has been fixed he is a little overweight hes outdoors mostly and and comes in if it's raining are usually the next morning. is there any kind of medication over the counter I can get for him to help him instead of just the food I called my vet they said he bmight be calling you again but they just cleaned them out a day and a half ago. I'm not sure what to do.

My cat's been dealing with urinary issues for the last 7 months. I'm about to take them to his third vet visit. I was wondering about the litter too. The vet said it could be stress-related but the only stress he has is laying around the house all day by himself. They're only suggestion was switching to expensive cat food and maybe supplements to calm the bladder

@@Obibopbop She did pretty good. She didn’t like bc I think it’s sour. But as far as the UTI it definitely does help her. Don’t worry bc I did too after what I would read and what not. My cat was really miserable. The natural remedies as far as I’m concern they don’t help. You’ll see a huge difference in your fur baby within 1 or 2 days. Even if your fur baby is better sooner make sure to do the entire treatment time. Because if not it can come back. So don’t worry and wishing your fur baby speedy recovery soon. Let me know how it turns out keep me posted on your fur baby please…..❤️❤️🌟🌟

Baking soda is known to help get rid of UTI's, but be extremely careful using it because it is extremely high in salt content which is dangerous for cats! The idea is that they will ingest a tiny amount after going in the kitty box and then cleaning themselves. Make sure to keep the litter sanitary by keeping it clean and dry enough to prevent bacteria. I also recommend incorporating some Feline Pine Kitty Litter made of Pine pellets in unscented non-clumping clay litter. It will keep it naturally fresh smelling and help keep it dry. One bag goes a long way to just help supplement the litter. It is sold at most pet stores. I have a 8 month old female cat, when she was 3 months old I assume was run over by a car, and she couldnt walk. After a month of keeping her indoors, she regained her hind lags, but her tail doesnt wiggle like normal, after the accident the tail wouldnt move at all. After 3 months the tail movement regained but only when she needs to go to the bathroom. She has an issue with with urinating, so I keep her caged or in diapers most of the time. Friendly advice! If your cat has UTIs often, make sure they do NOT have fish in their diet/stop giving them fish!! It COULD be the cause of the UTI!!!!

@Emily fish is an allergen for cats. I've had 3 cats so far allergic to fish and the main tell (for my cats at least) is UTIs. My current cat is extremely sensitive to it that if he gets the tiniest nibble, the next day he gets a UTI (so no fish in my house hold haha) It's so bad that if he gets another UTI, they vet is actually going to surgically cut his ueretha so that the stones will just pass through. Not saying that all cats will have this same issue and that swapping out of fish diet will get rid of the UTI problem, but its solved each of my cats UTI issues so far! Wouldn't hurt to try haha :)

It's true. My cat's problems increased with fish cat food. It also has a high amount of phosphorus. I stopped buying fish cat food. PLUS no more dry food outside of small treats. And stop the stress levels.

That’s curious. I’ve been all over the world with my husband for his work; 34 countries from Africa and the Middle East to the Far East, Scandinavia, Western and all of Central Europe. Although it’s heartbreaking 💔 to see hundreds of stray animals (not everywhere) one thing never changes. If there’s a healthy body of water and fishermen, that’s where you’ll find ALL the cats. Diet - Usually kibble is the leading cause of UTI's, IBD, diabetes and kidney failure. Kibble should NEVER be a main course, a crappy canned food is still better then a quality kibble due to moisture. Slowly change the diet to raw, or switched to a quality wet food (Pride, Fresh Pet Select, Honest Kitchen, Primal, for example) . Would your cat still get UTI's on a better diet, then ask your vet about D Mannos

In the US, you have to be careful - vets will push some expensive prescription food and it doesnt necessarily work. Try 1) adding a few tablespoons of water to the food dish and mix it so it is like a stew and be sure to scoop your litterbox 2x a day and give it a good cleaning every 3 weeks -- like toss and replace the litter and either wash with hot soapy water the box or take outside and hose down with soapy water or use a pet-friendly cleaner to clean the box itself if you live in an apartment and can't take it outside. A clean box and scooped litter are key to controling UTIs, too. Try to find a better dry food like Fussy Cat's Market Fresh and a decent wet food to mix with it. Sathandra is absolutely right -- you have to improve the diet options but if you can do it economically that is wallet-friendly, helps so much. Make sure the cat food you buy says made in the US or Canada -- not 'distributed' - pet foods, cat or dog, made overseas (hence 'distributed') are NOT verified. The FDA can only inspect less than 1% of pet food imports and only randomly. Therefore, you cant verify what's in the pet food and that's important

Adding water to the food dish and mixing it so it's like a stew for your cat helps entice your cat to consume more water. Some people add tuna juice but should be a tuna that is sourced and mercury/lead free. That's another cat health problem for another day -- try to get tuna that's mercury free if you go that route

We obviously choose the surgery but others may not be so lucky 😿

Haley Sousa You mean scabs? Mine has it too. Probably from flea bite allergy. I use vinegar and thoroughly soak his neck and back of neck. The scabs go away. But you have to do it regularly if you're not using those pesticide spot treatments.

Your vet won't even help for a uti? That's crazy, my cat is sick right now and my vet still came to my house. Another thing you can try is a product called Cranimals. You can buy it on Amazon or I got mine at Pet Valu. It has lots of good reviews on Amazon. Hope this helps and hope your kitty is ok.

Can this happen to my cat? It’s Almost as if the symptoms started right after he vomited. I went to clean it “took 10min” and went to check on him and I noticed he was just sprinkling pee uncontrollably. And he was fine the days before. It happened so rapidly. And today’s the 2nd day And now he’s still peeing uncontrollably but it’s not as much. The drops are smaller. I’m taking him to the vet today. It’s so weird it happen quick he Also started making a loud meow sound and very defensive with me.

So disappointed to see the amount of owners either refraining from or refusing to see a vet. This can become a LIFE THREATENING issue in very little time. Yes my cat just got diagnosed with this today she hasn’t been drinking a lot and she was diagnosed with a Urinaty infection she could go to the bathroom and she produced very little when going they gave her an antibiotic shot

What if they pee outside the box and pee on soft things like clothes and towels? Because I have two male kittens (well they are big now but still look small) they go to litter box but still pee all around the house. This is getting really out of hand i cant leave any clothes on any bed or close to the washing machine because they would pee on it the moment they see it. Its becoming a real probelm because my mom is getting really angry because she has to wash a lot of clothes and she is even considering to trow them alway (like to give them to shelter or something) and i raised them since they were little kittens from my older cat and I don't know what to do. Please help me!😭

That can just be a behavior issue or stress related. My Male cat would get constipated sometimes and pee around the house due to being stressed. Delt with it for years unfortunately. If they are constantly peeing on certain things or certain areas get rid of it or limit access. Some cats will just pee on certain objects like rubber mats, sinks, bath tubs, bean bags or blankets due to just being attracted to it for some odd reason. Also make sure litter box is clean. Some cats are picky with litter or won't go in it anymore if poop is in there.

My cat is the same except it is with poo

my male cat got blocked at 16 and was near death very quickly like with in 1 day. it was a Sunday morning of course and we live in the country. had to drove him 2 hrs to ER and they expressed his bladder and gave antibiotics was $400. then next day he seemed worse. wasn't moving and was greasy looking.. took him to another vet and they placed him in ICU for 2 days and IV fluids and he came back around and lived another several years without anymore issue. I now have a 2 year old female that is going to dozens of places around the home squatting and crying and trying to drink water like crazy. of course it's another bleeping Sunday morning. this us such BS there is nothing available to us other than ER on Sundays in a giant city. ugh.. I saved this one from being a feral and this is what we deserve.. im broke but I'll figure it out.. here goes another $400 I won't eat for 2 months and just won't pay some bill.

My cat didn't peed for 2 days. But she is acting normal she is playing eating but unable to pee or poop.

Rub Organic raw unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with "the Mother" on their fur (cat's sides) or the top of their paws. They will lick it off. Use one to two tablespoons a day for a few days rubbing it on each side of their fur or paws until you see them have relief. Remember to shake the bottle first. Organic apple cider vinegar will start to go into immediate action for the cat to get relief from the blockage. It saved my cat that was pissing blood and then could not pee while squatting all the time. Also, it helps get rid of UTI bacteria; Walmart sells it. Additionally, "Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth" helps get rid of UTI's over time sold on Amazon. It is a "diuretic" thus helps people and animals urinate 30% more to empty the bladder . Completely safe for cats with no limitations of consumption and has no salt in it. Cat's tolerate it because it has almost no taste. Just be careful not to breath it in by getting it dusted up in the air. Make sure to only use "Food Grade."Use at least about 1/4 teaspoon per small can wet catfood. If you use clay litter make sure you use the unscented. Scented can irritate their pee track with synthetic chemicals leading to inflammation and UTI blockages. Keep in mind that it is important to ensure cats, when feeling normal, get enough water to keep their system flowing. Try putting some added bit of water in their wet food. Avoid salty meats if they are having this problem. Also, buy "cranimals" from amazon. It is a cranberry extract that helps the kidneys and gets rid of UTI problems. Put 1/4 teaspoon in two small cans of wet cat food or equivalent to that with one big can. You can also wash out an old salt and pepper shaker to sprinkle a decent amount in their food. Any amount more than that I have noticed they will not eat it. Lastly, I have learned of a brand called "tinkle tonic" from chewy or amazon has saved many cat lives that had terrible trouble. It may be used for those cats in the event the apple cider vinegar rarely may not work. Please help Mu cats pee is pink i think it is mean mixed with blood she dosent pee on the litter box she pees on the ground she pees multiple times a day in the house on the ground I dont think she has any difficulty peeing whar can it be please help me

If blood is in urine then it needs antibiotics or anti inflammatory medication.

@@chasey1978 Apple Cider vinegar With the Mother works well to. Make sure to dilute it some. And give it to your cat a few times a day until it clears up.

The cat could have blood in his urine or failing kidneys. You should definitely take your cat to the vet immediately

My kitten is drinking lots of water and peeing on our bed... She uses the litter box in day time but at night when we are also she urinates on our blankets n bed... It's this concerning... Does she have a uti? Please confirm... She is playful n eats well

Use at least two tablespoons in a day or if necessary a few days in an emergency for cats. For very young cats reduce that amount to one tablespoon. For kittens use only a teaspoon. Rub the organic apple cider vinegar on each side of their fur or the top of their paws until you see them have relief. Remember to shake the bottle first. If you have a wild cat that doesn’t take orders, then douse him with a good bit in a small glass. A lot will bead of his fur. Also, they will not be able to lick off the entirety of it all at once. Organic apple cider vinegar will start to go into immediate action for the cat to get relief from the blockage. It saved my cat that was pissing blood and then could not pee while squatting all the time. Also, it helps get rid of UTI bacteria; Walmart sells it. Ideally, it is best to use organic apple cider vinegar because it tastes rather good and is much more tolerable for the cat to ingest it compared to the filtered kind which tastes horrible. Remember only to use the organic apple cider vinegar as necessary. Too much too often could lead to an ulcer. From my experience a couple tablespoons a week has not hurt my cat. If it is a real emergency you could go beyond that just do not let it come to a habit of more than that each week. Keep in mind; you will likely have reoccurring bouts with this for a while. That is why I recommend some other preventative measures as you read on below: Keep in mind that it is important to ensure cats, when feeling normal, get enough water to keep their system flowing. Ensure they eat wet cat food over dry for the moisture content, Consider temporarily stopping the cat from eating dry food or even permanently if necessary. Too much dry food leads to blockages with lack of hydration compared to canned cat food. Try putting some added bit of water in their wet food. Avoid salty meats if they are having this problem. Salty meats or salty canned food meats like tuna will stop up your cat for sure! If you use clay litter make sure you use the unscented. Scented can irritate their pee track with synthetic chemicals leading to inflammation and UTI blockages. Never use clumping litter for cats; it can lead to blockages because cats can ingest it much easier. That can cause ingestion of sludge and bacteria leading to inflammation and UTI’s. Clumping litter is known to be extremely dangerous for kittens and not good for cats in general. Buy only fragrant free non-clumping litter, and then add one heaping tablespoon of baking soda mixed in per 10 pounds of cat litter that you use. It will naturally neutralize the smell; Just do not go beyond that because baking soda is really high in salt which is dangerous for cats if they ingest it more than a tiny amount by licking their paws each time using the litter box. I have used it for my cat and it works well, he actually prefers this litter combination. Baking soda is known to help aid and help get rid of UTI’s. Never give it to your cat other than in the litter! Additionally, use feline pine litter and add it to your litter with several handfuls to add a nice fragrant smell. A little goes a long way to just supplement the litter. Also, consider buying "cranimals" from amazon. It is a cranberry extract that helps the kidneys and gets rid of UTI problems.
