What is your USDA frost zone? I am 8A and hear Owari Satsuma can be grown here. Just have to get it grafted on Trifoliate... then protect for the first 5 years. Then you will just have to cover when temps dip below 15F after that.

Appreciate your video. I just planted our first Washington orange drawf tree. So, id i u understand you can't eat oranges anytime during the year. Even when looks orange. Eating should be at harvest. I think i saw a video saying its October to January, do u think thats accurate?

I just grew my first orange…..literally, one orange, on a tiny tree. Came here to see when to pick after changing color.

I planted a tangelo ,god is that a sweet juicy unit (it really is a drink ), I keep it about two mtr round , expensive in the shops , highly recommend 🇦🇺🤙🤙

Cool! I’m already harvesting mandarines and clementines from my trees an they are spectacular. The only odd thing is they are not ready at the same time. Some of them are still greenish at some point so I’m waiting a bit longer. I’m pretty sure it’s because of sunlight and also, those trees were never properly pruned. I took full control of the garden here in Sicily thanks to Covid so I think next season all my trees will be more productive and healthy. Nice tips!
