Listen I was doing the treat thing from 8weeks to 12 weeks and my puppy wouldn’t listen without them. I cut treats out and started only using affection and praise and she listens way more.

I do not have a dog unfortynately yet i watch his videos to learn. This one though is for a puppy which knows allready thr comman down and he just reinforces what the puppy knows ...The first times how do you teach to sit by telling down ?

I teach my dog by letting him stay and when i far away enough i say come here and then give him something

I'm not a profesional trainer or anything, but I tell ppl to praise the deed, not the dog. My dog knows she's a good girl. I want her to know that it's a "good stay". I can leave in sit/stay in line while I use a porta potty at a music festival.
