Thanks for posting. We just got our little rescue puppy, T.J. He was supposed to be 1/2 Rat terrier + 1/2 Chihuahua. However, we did the DNA and he is 30% Jack Russel Terrier + 24% Chihuahua + 16% Dachshund + 6% Pomeranian and the rest is “Super Mutt”. His Super Mutt includes Labrador Retriever, American Eskimo, American Pit Bull Terrier and Pekingnese. He looks like an elegant, pretty Jack Russel. Many at the dog parks and our Vet says he looks acts like a sweet natured Jack Russel/Toy Fox Terrier. I know everyone says this but he appears to be quite bright and loves to train and learn new tricks. I appreciate your video and I know with your tips he will learn these new fun tricks in no time.

After a busy day in work I felt relaxed watching you with Sushi, feels like I’m there instead of camera. They say that if you open the door and your dog is first to get through that door, it means that he is considering himself a leader. The moment he will go as second one after You is considered as a breaking point.

What do you do? I’m afraid I disagree. The dog is just too excited to go out. 😁

@@sherylgim8906 working in therme kitchen Yes they are excited nevertheless :) After taking dog out for a walk, that is the best time to show them who is the boss here. Also a barking dog is worse than a sofisticated one, so those two things are kinda important to train regulary and start from there.

@@smudlicko Training a dog doesn’t have to include showing who’s the boss. It’s nice to be a good friend to your dog.😊

@@sherylgim8906 my father used to have a police dog, it was amazing how this dog was heavily reapecting him, nicely walking next to him and showing big respect to his owner. The guy that was training those dogs sayd that people are actually cripling dogs nowadays, dogs are thinking that it is just a game with a reward and meanwhile are running away from their owners like there is no tomorrow, when unleashed. The result is dogs killed by a car, lost in the woods and so on on a daily basis. He also said that the best thing you can do for your dog is to walk him without the leash and frequently change places too, so he can then gain some awarenes and be able to come home if lost. In other world map territory. He also said that everyone that is owning a dog and not having at least 2 hours a day to fully focus only on his dog, should never have him in a first place because he will never become a fine and a happy dog. 99% of dogs are masters of their owners and they should realize that it is the reason why they are unable to teach them things, without repeating. Jack was trained to dig holes and that is his thing, he likes to have a garden somhe can do what is in his blood. Every year there is more babies born in 6-8 month of pregnancy and their mother have to workout with them twice a day (Vojt method, bobat) and these babies are crying all the time as it is kinda painful for them. It’s hard for a mother to cause pain to her baby but she knows that it is big time important, in order to provide her baby with normal life without being crippled for the rest of life. That doesn’t mean they don’t love their silblings. There is also only limited time because when a baby is over 18 months old it is more often then not too late. The same thing is valid for dogs and it’s important to start in a right way when it’s only puppy. Also all parents in the world knows that you have to be hard on your kids because if you let them throw themselfs on the floor in a supermarket, raging that they cant have a toy they point at with a finger, something is not right :) It’s their parrents fault. I think you get my point

@@smudlicko My dog doesn’t run away from me when off leash. She gets her daily exercise so I’m not crippling her. I may have started late when it comes to training her but our training is definitely working. And the best thing about it? She doesn’t fear me and I don’t use force, intimidation, or punishment to train her.😊

Good question! Take a step back. Master the “paw” trick first. Once he knows what “paw” is, then start moving your hand to a “high five” ✋🏻.

My Jack Russell never pawed at it which is kinda disappointing, all she did was sniff and lick my hand. It's a good tutorial but she is too focused on the treats
