Now teach the cat to make coffee

I had two grey and white tabby’s at different times. Lost both after a good life due to age. Very smart and responsive. Looked for a couple of years after the first hoping to find one just like him. No luck. The second showed up one day. Lost him a year ago. Maybe some day.

I'll have to send some of these to my brother and his family in Bloomington MinneSNOWta. They all love cats and dogs! In fact, they foster care dogs rescued from Puppy Mills.

I have one that picked this up incredibly quickly because his default 'down' is flopped on his side so the roll came pretty quickly. The other one I was struggling to figure out how to get him onto his side. . .but he also JUST got to 'down' so now I know where to go next!

I've semi-retired, forced by the lockdown, and all the event cancellations. things are up and running again but I've decided not to bring the cats out of their retirement. They're now just just your everyday housecats. I have many tutorials I'll be uploading, and if I ever get around too it, one potential popular video of our cat act (street performance) we did 3x a week for the public in in the town of Coolangatta.

It marks the desired behavior like when we say "good" after the animal listens, BUT the clicker sound is much more powerful (effective) because each time they hear the click they're guaranteed to receive a treat, that's usually not guaranteed when they hear the word good. But first, the clicker sound needs to be paired with food, I show people how to do that in a tutorial on this channel. Maybe though I should have explained how you can teach behaviors without using the click, I just figured whoever is watching (following) these advanced tutorials, they would alread be using the clicker, its so much harder by a lot to reach this level of training without one. you can pair the word good with a treat, which will help but you just won't get the same results
