Hello Madam Maria. I have a 7 years old autism son. He has started to read simple sentences. He needs prompting. About reading book, how long I should focus to in one book before moving on to next? When he reads books, he prefers those with short sentences and simple. But he likes me reading to him those longer stories. After watching your video, I realise how important to read to read to them. I do it on off 😔 not being consistent

Hi Puvana, it is normal for him to want to read books with short sentences. It doesn't matter how short or long the book is as long as he continues reading! Yes, my boys loved long stories as well please don't feel bad about not doing it every day. You are doing the BEST you can, keep it up! :)

Hi! One of our sons used this method when he was a toddler. It helped quite a bit, particularly because routine was extremely important to him.
