    This is so helpful to me, thank you SO much. I am teaching a "preparing for employment" type course to adult learners with special needs (autism, SLD, moderate-severe LD etc) and have been struggling to understand how I can work on their communications skills. This has opened it all up a bit and I am feeling more like I can actually do this (I've been VERY anxious about failing them as I've never taught this subject and feel much more comfortable in the realms of more practical subjects)

    this was really helpful. i've had the base through reading different books and attending classes in the past, but i'm having to teach my kids these things and this was a really great refresher on those skills that are sometimes easy to overlook
