Maybe try handpoking? I can draw and hand poke really well but even using a pen on paper is not for me. Pulling lines just isn't my thing which is why I find using individual dots better to work with

One line is easy when you have all those lines, looking confident, the way, Daniel yuk does, now we’re talkin!!
actual thing of beauty. thankyou so much for the hard work you put into all of your videos I've learned so much.
I always feel I'm feathering the skin so my lines don't get consistent. It's like Inger confused when I feel the skin and I'm not sure if I should feel drag or not. I wish my lines were this great

id recommend staring out at 7.0-8.0 depending on your hand speed
@venomx4093

Depends on your hand speed. Too high of voltage with too slow of hand speed, you will destroy the skin. To low of voltage with too fast of a hand speed, you will have weak lines. Practice on yourself to get a better feel for it.
Which brand?machine are you running in this video??

It honestly feels like your just scraping the needle aross my skin I just got my 4th tattoo yesterday n lemme tell u the whole time I wanted to scream they make lines look painless n easy but main was painful n they tattooed over my vain to so I was in pain

Which stroke?
What voltage?
@DanielYuck
2 жыл бұрын
Thats a great question! For this line I was running at 7.5 volts. For me I typically line at 7.5-8 volts depending on the machine I am running and of course the needle size I am using. If I am running smaller needles the voltage wont be the same as larger groupings.

@@DanielYuck so if I’m using a bigger needle (mine say 1209RL) and the skin is snagging do I need to adjust my voltage or is that depth? Lines look clean, just inconsistent from snagging. I played with voltage from 7-10
@thedevil3890
Жыл бұрын
@@atrociousrabbit4378 If you're snagging skin, it's because of one of three things. 1. You're running your needle too far out and your stroke length isn't long enough to fully retract the needle out of the skin causing it to snag. 2. You're not stretching the skin tight enough and tuning the needle too far out. Or 3. You're running your machine way too slow/soft and the needle doesn't have time/strength to fully retract from the skin as your hand is moving. Your needle-out length should only be between 2-3 millimeters at most. Get a good stretch on the skin, run you power supply between 6-8 volts, and always make sure the needle is able to fully retract into the tube.
