**I've had a lot of questions about this so please read!** The most important factor for this method to work is to have a PHONE NUMBER of the country you are trying to reach. So for example, a UK sim card with a UK phone number. Some esim companies provide a phone number, where as some don't. So if you are using the esim method, please check with the company to see if they provide a phone number. If you are using a physical sim from the country you are trying to reach, I recommend you keep that sim in your phone at all times AND purchase an esim of the country you are in so you can have data (like holafly - the company i mentioned). But whilst using tiktok, turn that esim off in your settings to avoid any interference on the app. You can still use your wifi connection.

Hi, i am reading many comments about data plan and roaming (e.g. USA my target coutnry) and I am even more confused - If i have a e-sim, can I directly use my home's wifi? or do I need to have a monthly roaming/data plan from USA? Hi Claudia, I’m in Australia. If I purchase a USA physical sim do I need an eSim too? Also, do I have to keep recharging the sim after the expiry days (obviously not using any of the credit because it won’t work while in Aust) and if so, do I recharge both?, or is it more about just having the physical card in the phone? you can still use your wifi connection, the only thing you need to make sure is that you have a sim in your phone with a US number whilst using tiktok. If you still keep a korean sim in the phone it will probably still show you korean tiktoks and push your tiktoks out to korea

I don't see why it would be up to tiktok what sim card you have in your phone. I'm from the uk and i frequently travel and live in other countries. It's much easier for me to keep my uk sim in because i like to keep my number the same and I use it for 2 factor ID and things like that.

I think you would just have to turn off your other sim and keep this one active in your phone

Great video! Fun fact - vpn works! As long as you don’t have a sim in your phone at all, tiktok will use your IP to figure out where you are. It’s not super comfortable though as you’d need to reset your phone data too each time to remove all location data your phone already holds

@@alpha.sigmas as far as I know it shouldn’t affect your reach when you change to a different account type. I don’t think you should need to create a new account. I also have a creator account

The vpn one works only if you know what you are doing lmao, if you just install a vpn only on your phone and connect it will work only for your for you page *maybe* but it wont work for posting content as it wont affect or gives you a shadowban, i mostly gonna try alot of methods sutch as reseting my phone and new acc and see how it goes.

There are lots of different e sim companies with different pricing. I recommend you do some research and find one that suits your budget.

You should be able to activate it in a different country but it depends if it needs to send an OTP or not. Sometimes, certain OPTs won't be delivered when you are outside that country

And then uploaded one video to the same account on Tik Tok but with Spanish SIM and it turned viral but for totally different audience😢 And now even when I go live with lithuanian SIM, I still see many foreigners joining and less lithuanians…

You should still be able to use Wi-Fi without it affected the country. Do you still have your Italian sim in your phone? If so - you’ll need to remove it completely and close and re-open the TikTok app.

Hey Claudia. I'm UK based, Ive had a US sim card in consistently for 3 weeks, location off and I've tried US VPN on and off. No matter what I do, I cannot hit the US algorithm. That's what I wanted to say, you need to create a totally new account and I don't know 100 about the esim because she is trying to reach um audience and she has uk physical sim. TikTok pulls location data directly from your sim in your phone. She only uses Thai esim because she is in Thailand not for TikTok, seems like misinformation to me.

@@rachedbataineh that's strange! What sim card did you put in your phone? Is it an e-sim? If so you have to make sure the phone number of the esim is the country that you're targeting. Some esims will use carriers from different countries. For example I know Airalo uses sinapore for some of their sims.

You just have to make sure the esim is registered in the country you want to reach (has to have roaming on in your current country but this is included in the price)

yes - as long as the sim card has an australian number and you keep that in your phone whilst using tiktok, it should work.
